My foot is approx 9 1/8" long with a toe splay of approx 3 1/2-3 3/4". I ordered a 6 1/2 M (my normal size) red shoe. The fit is very good and comfortable. I haven't worn them long enough to know if they will stretch out, as some reviewers have claimed, but at first try out of the box, I am pleased with the fit. The insole is cushiony and they are comfortable to wear. The only possible issue is that they might be a bit too high for my low ankle bones, but a heel insert should help this if it becomes a problem. I won't know if this is the case until I wear them for any length of time.
