I have been on the hunt for a pair of "goes with just about everything" nude colored shoe for wider sized feet for quite a while now. Slingbacks are a nice because they combine the easy elegance of a sandal with the sophistication of a pump. The review that convinced me to give these a try was the one that said she had a wide foot, and not only did it fit, but it was comfortable. Being that this is a very pointy toed style, I was highly doubtful, but decided I could return them if they didn't fit well (or at all). Well, they arrived today and as soon as I took one out of the box I thought: "There is NO WAY this is going to fit." Since I was so sure of that fact, I didn't even bother to take my medium thickness athletic socks off first. BUT . . . lo and behold, they slipped right over my socks. I was SHOCKED. I immediately took them off, took off my socks and put them back on to see how they would feel barefoot or with pantyhose. (They felt even better.) Very comfortable heels, walked in them all night and no blisters/foot pain. I’m usually an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Got the gold and later decided to buy in white. Returned white because it’s very neon - hard to match things so I wouldn’t recommend. But gold/silver go for it!!

I like the heels. The suede material is nice. Size is fairly accurate. However, after wearing them at a wedding for a longer period of time, they were very uncomfortable and painful to walk in. A larger size would not have helped except to leave more shoe sticking out by the heel of the sling back.
