These orthopedic loafers are priced very well for the arch support that is already built into the shoes. I have very high arches and I'm always looking for a way to work in that arch support without having to spend extra money on inserts. When given the chance to try these shoes out, I took it and crossed my fingers that they would not only work for my needs, but look nice too. All the boxes were checked! I'm on day two of wearing them - and have sat down to do this review while still wearing them. I've worn them with socks (as submitted photos show) and I'm wearing them without today. Both ways are comfy. With socks, my feet do tend to lift slightly out of the heel (on the right foot) more than I like, but I also have one foot just a tiny bit smaller than the other. I will most likely put a small insert in that shoe if I choose to wear socks with my loafers. IF I go without socks, my feet stay in place and the heel doesn't lift up. Without socks, the feet do tend to feel more warm than I'd want on a hot day, so keep that in mind, if you decided to go sock free. The quality of the shoe is great. The cushion insert stays in place. The stitching holds firm as does the sole. Everything appears to be solid and ready for a full day of work or play. I'm looking forward to enjoying these shoes over the course of the upcoming Fall season as a replacement for other shoes that I had to purchase inserts for. There's a nice grip on the bottom of the shoe, so you shouldn't be worried about slick surfaces. A small heel will give you only a little bit of height, so you won't feel as if you've grown several inches either because of the added arch support. All in all, this is a really great pair of shoes at a steal of a deal. I'd definitely consider purchasing other pairs in other colors, if/when the time comes to replace these. (For reference -- I'm 300lbs and wear size 10-11 shoes - prefer Wide)

These simple loafers are perfect to pair with work attire, pants or a skirt. The insoles are pretty cushy and the shoe is comfortable. I have high arches, bulging discs in my lower back, neuropathy in my hips and plantar fasciitis. Being a runner for many years is a double edged sword. Shoes are a difficult thing for me and I end up wearing my Brooks athletic shoes with prescription plantar fasciitis inserts most of time. They are comfortable but don't make me feel pretty. These shoes have a soft leather exterior and look a lot more expensive than they are. I generally wear a US 6.5 in athletic shoes and 7.0 in dress shoes, I ordered the 7 and they fit well. I can slip them on and off easily. The soft leather fold on top does need to straightened after putting on but that is easy. Every part of the shoe that touches the foot is comfortable and soft feeling, there is no pinching or rubbing. The arched insole is higher than most shoes but still not quite high enough for my weird feet. They have been comfortable so far and I think for people without back and foot issues, these will be dreamy comfortable,

I got this pair of loafers for my wife. She got the size 8.5 and says the fit is perfect and that they are super comfortable to wear all day at work. She also commented the arch support is good and likes how they look and that they pair well with jeans, skirts, and dresses. Even though she likes how they look, she does feel the style is a little dated. I personally think they look great on her. They loafer itself seems well made with good stitching. They have a fair amount of insole padding and a strip of padding above the upper heal that I haven't seen in a loafer before. I would think the heal padding would cause rubbing but my wife says they do not rub at all. She says having padding there is actually comfortable and helps to keep the heal of the loafer from sliding up and down when she walks. Overall I think these shoes are a fair value given the quality is just as good as some of the more expensive brands out there but at half the price.

These are an inexpensive pair of shoes for work or casual dress. They are comfortable and cushioned. While not my typical style, I like to have a basic pair of shoes to leave at work for the winter when my feet get wet or I forget my shoes when switching out of boots. These shoes will do well for me as I spend most of the day on my feet. Because if the pointed toe, I ordered a size up (11) and they are a little large for me. I think a 10 1/2 would have been best but they do t offer that size. I generally prefer shoes with good arch support but these don’t seem to have much of that . The bottoms are also somewhat slippery and may not have enough grip for tile or wet floors.
