They are water resistant and comfortable. My 8 year old and I were in NYC over Christmas and she wore these everyday with wool socks. We walked on average 22,000 steps per day and her feet were warm and comfortable the entire time. They are also so cute and stylish for her age. Highly recommend.

The velcro on the side is perfect for the patches you can switch out which are included. My 6 yr old granddaughter loves being able to decorate her shoes. Plus, they sent a black pair of laces, too. Great price and quality. Plus, shipped promptly.

My 8 year old girl loooooves these so much. The style is very good with a little attitude, perfect for her. I got them because they kinda evoke Amy the Hedgehog (who wears cool boots and who my kid adores) while also having a rainbow effect. The shoe part is shimmery and nice. The laces do tie at the top, which means you can get the tightness just right but also means it won't look like the photos unless you tuck in the laces - which can be lumpy and less comfy depending on your kid's skills at that. The side zipper works well so far. They are a bit heavy but not more than I would've expected based on the look. Nice tread on the bottom. She looks awesome in them and hasn't complained about fit or weight. So far, very pleased!

My daughter is very picky with shoes and these worked great they are true to size they are durable and haven’t scratched they are easy to clean since she does wear them on rainy days and have kept her feet dry good price she gets lots of compliments when she wears them

These are so so cute in person and well made. Fit is pretty true to size but if you have “tall” feet you could go up a size length seemed tts but my daughter has high insteps so it was overall a bit too snug. I ended up exchanging and sizing up for her to give her some wiggle room.
