I keep this bassinet at my parents house so I have only needed to use it twice, but I am not a fan. It is not a very sturdy device. The bassinet on top does not seem safe at all to me because of the fur lining. My baby is 10 pounds and it seems he has already outgrown it. When he is in the bassinet I feel like I have to keep my eyes on him at all times to be sure his face isn’t up against the fur lining. Does not seem like safe sleep to me. Also the bassinet cannot be detached to use alone because it does not have any kind of frame. I recently removed all of the pieces to allow him to sleep in the play pen; this is because I felt it might be the safest of all options (hard surface mesh walls). I’m not impressed with the quality of the pad, fabrics and the overall device. ... show more

I love this pack-n-play because it has a changing table up high that’s useful and the color scheme is adorable! However, the bassinet portion is so disappointing ... I thought it could be removed and used free standing but it has no side support so it just collapses flat if not used in conjunction with the pack-n-play base . So there’s no taking it off and moving just that piece downstairs with a baby in it . Also the fabric inside is a plush white fabric which is crazy because of blow outs and spit up, need i say more . It’s going to get destroyed so fast . I have ended up not even using this portion of the set since the pack-n-play base does raise up high, it’s basically the same level as the bassinet on top so what’s the point? Overall happy with the purchase, just have those silly complaints about the functionality of the bassinet portion, wasn’t worth it in the end . ... show more
