This is one of the best purchases that I've made. I was able to put it together myself (although I must have looked funny in some of my positions trying to screw things in... Lol) When not in use, way to fold up or roll into other room. Perfect size for my special needs 4 year old grandson that can't walk, talk or support his own neck. It's sturdy, has wheels with brakes, dual position for mattress levels, attractive and compact. (If only I could find a man this good.. lol) It looks great in my living room and fits into the decor. my 2.5 yr old daughter and I are staying at my parents home and we only had a pack and play for her to sleep in. I was desperate to find either a larger pack and play or other alternative to give her a more appropriate sleeping arrangement. After some searching I found this portablr crib and though some reviews were negative I bought it anyway. I needed a portable crib that can fold to keep at my parents house so as not to take up too much of their space.. It arrived very quickly and I assembled it myself and it was easy, with all the parts and pieces in the delivery. I brought my daughters standard sized cri mattress and it fit perfectly into the crib! the finished crib is sturdy and with no scratches and good quality! My daughter slept peacefully through the night and I'm so happy I bought this crib! There's a locking function for two of the four wheels. It's easy to lift the base and fold the crib to transport/ roll the crib in and out of the room doorways The cherry finish looks expensive and it's a clean design! the top side long rails has a rubber like cover over them to prevent babies from chewing on it. Great detail! I'm getting a crib skirt and bumper to give it a more polished look ( because the metallic fixtures are exposed though not a hazard IMHO) ... show more

I purchased this crib to use when my now 16 month old granddaughter comes to visit. We have recently downsized to a smaller house and just don't have the room to keep a crib set up all the time. She spent a week sleeping in this crib recently and seemed to be much happier than having to use the Pack n Play. The directions for putting it together were confusing, but once I got it figured out, it went together easily and seems sturdy. I love being able to collapse it and roll it to anywhere in the house. Because they don't recommend bumpers in cribs anymore, she did have a tendency to put her legs through the rungs and wake herself up when she tried to move, but it was usually when she was first falling asleep and didn't have a problem during the night. For our purposes, this is a great crib and I've already recommended it to other friends with visiting grandchildren. ... show more

This crib is full size, which is unusual for foldable cribs. I bought two of these, based on price. It's well made and sturdy. When the two short ends fold in, it's only about 8 inches deep. There's no latch to hold it in the folded position (see edit below) which makes moving it difficult. My main issue is with assembly, the steps are moderately difficult for one person, the pre-drilled screw holes are too small, it's best to enlarge them slightly or work the screw back and forth as you insert it.. The really aggravating part is - they pasted the somewhat cryptic directions (shown above) on the bottom section of the bed. Yes, you have to hold up a 2.5 X 4' board to read how to put it together. EDIT: it's a little difficult to move around because it doesn't "lock" closed. I solved this by installing an eye bolt and reusable flexible tie, see the 4th photo. ... show more
