The crib arrived on time and the packaging was protective. One thing that stood out is the quality of the pine that was used in the crib. I would suggest having someone assist with the assembly otherwise you might damage the structure of the crib. For some INEXPLICABLE reason the instructions are glued securely to the base of the crib that supports the mattress. It would have been more helpful if the instructions were loose and could be spread out where and as needed. The holes drilled for attaching the latches on both sides of the crib were not correctly spaced and made attaching the latches to the headboards difficult. I was able to force the screws in far enough and will have to buy a better screwdriver and try to force the screws in a little further, another quarter of an inch. It's not a major flaw. All the other drilled holes lined up very well. The only difficulty was attaching the base of the crib that supports the mattress in Step 3. It just fits and is unwieldy to get into the metal slots even with a helper. Step 2 suggests you not tighten the bolts completely but this didn't work so we attached the stabilizer bar and one side to the headboard, slotted in the mattress base and then tightened the side to the other headboard. This probably sounds confusing but just know IT ISN'T EASY and plan accordingly. It's downhill after you get the mattress base in. When completely assembled it was a sturdy crib and we were happy with it. We bought the natural wood and I would suggest running your hands over the rails looking for rough spots just in case, i.e. splinters. All in all it deserves 4 to 4.5 stars but not five due to a few things noted above. It's a fairly expensive crib but I think if your planning more than one it's worth the price.

We just assembled our DOM crib. It is a wonderful product and just what we need for occasional visits with our Grandchildren. The positive is that it is sturdy, attractive and folds up easily. The negative is the assembly. The directions are not easy to follow; they are vague or incomplete. They are mounted on the wooden bed of the crib which initially is fine. Once the platform is in the crib, you are bending over peering in to read it. If you purchase this item, make sure you have someone who is good at assembly. Both my husband and I are quite proficient at this and we still had a hard time and ended up with 4 extra washers!

Very pleased with this full size folding crib... the quality is great. A minor issue is that the bed is not stable in its folded/storage configuration & can easily tip over; so it needs to be constrained in some manner. This is why we rated it a 4 instead of 5. Had hoped to store it at foot of bed but that was not possible due to instability when folded. It should also be understood that the mattress must be removed & stored separately in order to fold the crib. It is also too heavy & bulky for easy travel use. With those points in mind the folding mechanism & large wheels make it easy to move the crib around on one floor. The features we like best are its robust construction & full size mattress which will allow it to be used as a toddler bed later on.

We bought this so that we could put it away when we didn’t have our granddaughter. It is easy to put together and fold up for storage. I will admit that the first couple of times that you go to fold it away, it may take two people. But that is because you have to get a pattern of how you are going to fold it and some of the securing clips will need some time to break in. Great product. Would recommend.

The small gold screws required in step 1 attaching the latch literally break in half even if you handle them delicately and screw them in gently. Do yourself a favor and go buy better screws in the same size. If you have already broken the screws for the latch off as I did, just move on to the next step. Luckily, the bed will function without the latches. I was also short a washer, but I made it work.

Great crib. This Is my second one. I rent them out to my clients but this one arrived missing an important dowel and had to go to Home Depot to get one. I called the company but no one answered.
