I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this toddler bed. I had been looking everywhere for a simple, well-made, sturdy, attractive, all wood bed that wasn't seriously expensive, and I almost gave up the search. It was only by chance that we came across this option, and we were really doubtful about the quality for it being so much less expensive than everywhere else. But this bed truly did fulfill every expectation I had. It fits the crib mattress perfectly, feels very sturdy even with me sitting on it as well, looks beautiful, and it was delivered in excellent condition. For the most part, it was easy to assemble, and everything you need is included in the box. However, the wood slats that run across the bottom are near impossible to put in alone, so I recommend starting out with two people working together. Adding to the frustration is that most of these wood slats come ever so slightly curved or warped. But don't give up hope! Once you get them in, they are secure, and there is a screw that locks it all together tightly. Finally, the most important test of all was also passed with flying colors: my toddler loves it, and slept in it without any issue the first night we had it set up, and every night since. This is a great, solid, quality toddler bedframe. My son loves his new bed. It's easy to climb in and out while being close enough to the ground that I don't worry about falls. Easy enough to put together. And it looks really nice! The color is lovely in person. My son is an active guy that jumps in bed constantly and this bedframe has been very sturdy. This toddler bed has to be put together when it comes. It is very sturdy and looks great. It will take two people to finish the last step as it is a snug fit to get the rails and slats to fit into place correctly. The safety features are wonderful, no worries they will move and a child will be hurt.

We've had this for a few years now and it's only now I'm writing a review! It definitely has held up! Has been so good to us and soon we will need a twin. Would definitely recommend this bed for a transition bed out of a crib. The height is great for kids and gives parents that extra sense of protection but still big kid freedom for your kiddo.
