I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this toddler bed. I had been looking everywhere for a simple, well-made, sturdy, attractive, all wood bed that wasn't seriously expensive, and I almost gave up the search. It was only by chance that we came across this option, and we were really doubtful about the quality for it being so much less expensive than everywhere else. But this bed truly did fulfill every expectation I had. It fits the crib mattress perfectly, feels very sturdy even with me sitting on it as well, looks beautiful, and it was delivered in excellent condition. For the most part, it was easy to assemble, and everything you need is included in the box. However, the wood slats that run across the bottom are near impossible to put in alone, so I recommend starting out with two people working together. Adding to the frustration is that most of these wood slats come ever so slightly curved or warped. But don't give up hope! Once you get them in, they are secure, and there is a screw that locks it all together tightly. Finally, the most important test of all was also passed with flying colors: my toddler loves it, and slept in it without any issue the first night we had it set up, and every night since. (We've had this bed for almost a month now.) ... show more
