  • I think this is the best one of the options for a mini crib.
Color: White Style: Crib
I looked a long time for a small mini crib of a nice simple design and got this one eventually b/c I had seen it in person and it wasn't a risk. It is nice looking and small enough to wheel around. We live in an Apt and this is our 3rd and we aren't sure what room he'll sleep in yet so this is great. Sometimes he's in the living room, sometimes the foyer, sometimes our bedroom. This is the same size as a pack and play but looks like a crib. Our first son was just in a pack and play for 3 years which he loved. Personally, I think a pack and play (with a real mattress) is the best option for a child, better than a regular crib, (as long as the size isn't too small for the child) because of the mesh sides of a pack and play. My other son loved that he could see out, wasn't blocked by bars, but it circulated air and was soft and mushy for him to shove his head in the corner. The only reason our new baby isn't in the pack and play is because a pack and play is low and I didn't want my toddlers to drop things into the crib. So this is great b/c it's taller and they'd have to climb on something and really make the effort to drop something in (they don't, hasn't happened, but with a pack and play I know they would have). Also, the toddlers learned how to jump in and out of the pack and play by climbing their feet in the mesh of the pack and play. Again, not an issue with this. I love how the bottom can be repositioned and it does do so very easily (but you have to take out the mattress or whatever is in the crib to do so). In the top position this is a perfect diaper changing table. We are moving it down now as the baby gets bigger. FYI: I had our apt handyman put this together and he messed it up, he put the walls upside down. Functionally it's fine but doesn't look as nice. I tried to put it together originally and could not figure it out. But the (bad) handyman also left a lot of pieces I found when he left so I had to finish putting it together (the square stoppers which serves as the rests for which the base sits on at the different levels) That was simple enough but would have been much easier had it been done before the crib walls went up. I think the handyman didn't see the instructions which are actually printed onto the underside of the base for the mattress. It took a while for me to realize that's where they were. Yes, I got a 3inch pack and play mattress to put in this, better. We haven't tried to fold it yet but I love that we could do that and stick it under a bed when we are done with it instead of having to disassemble it. ... show more

  • High hopes, big letdown
Color: White Style: Crib
I love this crib. I'll start off with that. I bought one used for my son when he turned 3 months old because he had outgrown his bassinet and I could find nothing to fault it on. It's portable, folds up to save space easily, I mean, to this day I still have no complaints about the one I bought used. When my son turned 4 months old I unexpectedly became pregnant with his little sister. Well, I thought I knew just what to do. I loved this crib so much I figured we would skip a bassinet altogether and just get this crib new so they can both have one. My husband and I spent the last several hours trying to put our brand new crib together. My hopes were so high, but of course it was too good to be true. The initial problem was that everything in the box was opened. The hardware box and the packaging for the screws was opened. The screws, washers, etc were all over the inside of the box. Thankfully, my 9 month old was not in the room with us at the time and God forbid he had found one.. 2nd problem was that the screw holes do not line up and attempting to put the crib together with the holes as they are was not only unattractive, but unsafe. My husband re-engineered everything, but our brand new crib now has multiple screw holes from the factory ones that were not placed correctly making it more than a little unattractive, but at least my baby has a safe place to sleep I guess. If it wasn't such a pain to take apart while nearly 30 weeks pregnant and high risk I would definitely be returning this crib. Another thing to note is the version that I bought used had much higher quality wheels. I'm not sure how they went from making the best crib ever to this. I'm more than a little disappointed in what I received. And yes, as others have mentioned the product does have a VERY strong chemical smell. Likely VOCs. I left it outside for a few days to air out because my pregnant nose could not tolerate it and the smell was strong throughout my whole house. I raved about this crib to all my friends but I'm now embarrassed to have done so. ☹ I hope in the future the manufacturers will take this review into consideration. Please fix the screw holes and offer the crib with the higher quality wheels again. This is such a nice and functional crib when manufactured correctly. ... show more

  • It’s okay
Color: White Style: Crib
I like the quality and the fact that it’s perfect for small spaces and easy to fold but it’s pretty beat up. Not sure if that’s the manufacturer problem or my delivery guy. But I’m not too happy with the fact that it’s all beat up and cracked, but going to try and caulk it and hopefully we can still use it safely Otherwise I like it! ... show more
