I bought these as a gift for my daughter. They are beautiful and very stylish. There is a little shimmer to the finish that makes them nice for dressier occasions. It was a great value, and she loves them. I have several Dr. Scholl's shoes of this style, and I have been happy with all of them. They wear well, and are very comfortable. I wore a pair on our trip to Italy in 2023 when the pair was new, and didn't have to worry about a break-in time. They were great from the start. They have a bit thicker sole, which I like, and arch support, which I need. Because they were so comfortable, I have purchased several more since then in different colors. I was scouring shoes and reviews because my mother and I were going to Italy, and no offense to our own kind (American) I didn't want to be mistaken for one. Why, you ask? Well, sadly we get a bad wrap for a plethora of things. So, simple coats/jackets, blouses, pants/trousers, and most of all no sneakers, but walking shoes. I LOVE these shoes. So much so, I just ordered a second pair in another color and will order more colors. You have to find what works for you. If these don't, move on to the next, but for me, they were exactly what I wanted. My mom had to instantly return hers because they were too heavy for her, she's 70. But being 45, it wasn't for me. And then there is the comfort. I'm someone who averages 8K steps a day and there was anywhere between 15-20K in Italy. No issues whatsoever. Very comfortable. ... show more

I am usually picky with shoes because they really need to be supportive and comfortable. I don't like spending a bunch of money on shoes but these were a God Send at just the right time. They are durable- have had them for months and they are still holding up like new- and were the perfect size. They aren't the most solid on ice as I have slipped a few times, but in neutral or rainy weather they work just fine. I also love the style and color. I wanted these to be super comfortable, but they simply are not. My other Dr. Scholl’s Madison’s really set a standard and unfortunately these ones did not meet it for comfort. Very cute though. The sides of my big toes and pinky toes are so sore every time I wear them. Even with thick socks. Cute and comfy white sneakers. Fit was perfect. I bought 5 brands of sneakers before my trip to Italy. Adidas, Vivaia, Sketchers, Sperry and these Dr. Scholl's. These were the most comfortable right out of the box with the cutest/most versatile styling. However they are kinda heavy. Maybe it's the AMAZING comfortable and supportive foot bed. I ended up not taking these to Italy, but the Vivaia brand due to their comfort AND lightweight - but I kept these Dr. Scholls and am so glad I did, because they are so comfortable, versatile and easy to clean with a Mr. Clean Magic eraser.
