I was excited to get these shoes in bc I was shocked Dr. Scholl’s had cute styles! I ordered a black snake pair in 6.5 wide and a white snake pair in 6.5 regular. The black pair came in a Dr. Scholl’s box with paper and plastic fillers and a heel stick and looked brand new. The white came in a regular Amazon looking box with only one filler, nothing in the second shoe and no heel sticks. The bottoms looked worn (see pic for reference - I wore the black pair around the house to get of feel of them and they picked up a little but the white are obviously worn in my opinion). They also had more flex and the tops had the beginnings of creases in them. The black were stiffer and felt like new shoes. I wasn’t sure if I would need wife or regular so I ordered one of each. The wide felt great, but seems to have more length too as my heel slid around more in the black than the white. The white were very tight. Most of my shoes are regular width and the white felt more narrow then my normal shoes. If you have the slightest bit narrow feet, I highly recommend getting the wide if available. Sending the white back but keeping the black and expect to love them, as they are super comfy! ... show more

I read some of the reviews and didn’t realize some people received knock-offs. I’ve purchased several Dr, Scholes shoes here on Amazon and never once had a bad pair. I’ve always received the real thing. My Dr. Scholes have all fit perfectly, are well made and lasted a long time. This pair is no different. They fit great, I’m a 9 1/2 W and that’s what I ordered. They’re great looking too. The top part feels like suede, the interior has a really nice insert and my feet feel so comfortable. Even has toe grooves and wonderful arch supports. I was looking for a good shoe with support. I googled the best slip on sneaker for walking and found a list. These shoes were number 3 and they are amazing! I put them on and then spent the day going to doctor's appointment, and walking down hallways to labs and x-ray departments. When I got home, my feet were still very happy,. I am currently breaking these in, and so far they are very comfortable and have held up. My only gripe is that the heel does cut into the foot a little bit, but I have stick-on heel cushions that I'm currently trying with them. Heads up- I always have trouble wearing slip on shoes and get blisters on my ankles. I wasn’t surprised that these cute shoes rubbed the back of my heel and ankle. BUT otherwise these shoes were wonderful! I bought them to wear to Portugal. They worked with different styles, even dresses, and were perfect for walking all day. If you, like me, usually get ankle blisters from these kinds of shoes, wearing socks helps tremendously, but might not look as cute. Bandaids help too! ... show more

The shoe runs very narrow and even the wide was a snug fit but on top of foot. The sole was greatand plenty of room for toe spread. Pushed on nerves oddly enough upon first wearing in house and sitting. I think sitting out more pressure on those spots. Once I wore out and about the became a perfect fit. I have a bad ankle that flares up and these do not irritate it. Extremely happy with my purchase and they are a great every day white tennis shoe but elevated.     • Give them time to stretch

When I first tried these on and wore them for an hour or two, they hurt the top of my foot. But now that I have worn them for a few days, they feel great! Give them an opportunity to stretch before returning them.
