After only about a month of weekday desk job use the insoles have deteriorated around the heels of each shoe. The fact that these are Dr. Scholl's makes poor insoles completely inexcusable as a point of failure. The length is good, however, the width lets my foot constantly slide and roll side-to-side. The shoes are also very loose around the top and the heel. enough that have to walk like they are a pair of slides/flipflops or they just flop right off my feet. I will say the build quality, other than the insoles, seems excellent so far. If you have chubby/bulky/wide feet or always rock some extra thick winter socks and get replacement insoles these are passable shoes. ... show more

I am pretty happy with the purchase, and may even get another pair if I can find them in a brown. these look good with jeans, cords and chinos. Plenty of room in the toe box, but a bit wide in the ball of the foot area, but not uncomfortable, It just took a bit of getting used to. These quickly became my go-to-shoe. While so far, so good, I am a bit concerned that the heals are going to loosen up from putting the shoes on and taking them off, but I guess that is to be expected from slip-ons. ... show more

This is one of the best chef shoes on the market without breaking the bank. It is extremely comfortable, looks good, and is lightweight. I am a big guy and I work doubles on the line and this shoe does wonders for my feet. I do add insoles for extra bounce. The shoes look great with black chef's pants too. All that being said they use a cheaper glue now and the souls will fall apart within 6 - 8 months. If you can afford to replace these every time the souls rip then these are the shoes for you. ... show more

I love this simple stylish slip on. I have been looking for a shoe like this for quite some time. The smooth rounded toe allows the leather finish to really stand out. The sole it anti slip and very comfortable to walk in. Easy to slip on and off. I ordered a 10 1/2 but should have trusted that a 10 would have fit. It would have.     • Loved these shoes at first, did not hold up well though.

This is the second pair I have purchased. I love them right out of the box, the fit all around is terrific for me and being leather the fit only improves with use. Unfortunately the soles start to fall apart within a couple months. Both times I was able to only get 4 months of five day per week use out of them before they were simply too far gone to use any longer. The tread starts to separate within the first few weeks then the "structure" of the sole, the plastic or rubber portion attached to the leather upper sections starts to crack and separate from the upper sections. The first pair I purchased did this in 2021, I worked in a dry, clean environment as an engineer at a resort. The second pair did this from June to October of 2022 when I worked in a machine shop with generally oily and dirty floors. I really wanted these to work for me, unfortunately the soles failed prematurely both times. If the construction of the lower portion was improved I would buy again, I just need them to last longer for the money. ... show more
