Yes these are comfortable as if they’ve already been broken in! I have several pairs of Docs and these were a pair that I was able to step right into and wear for a full day of doing hair without any issues at the end of the day, and my usual women’s size 8 fit perfectly. I can’t find a picture that adequately shows how adorable these shoes are. They are also the most comfortable pair of docs I’ve ever worn. They have a slight heel and aren’t heavy so easy to walk in. They are cushioned at the back of the foot so you don’t have to worry about blisters on your heels. I wore them for the first time for a 14 hour day and my feet were fine at the end of it. I also got several compliments on the shoes. I hesitated to get them because I didn’t NEED them and they are pricy but I’m so glad I decided to buy them. One piece of warning, if you have high arches like I do you are not going to be able to wear them with socks until you break them in. They slightly pressed down on the top of my foot but not enough that it made them uncomfortable to wear. ... show more

Love these shoes! They are so comfortable and I get compliments on them all the time. They are Doc Martin so they are of course invincible and made to last. Had them over a year and wear most days to work, and they still look like new.

5 stars for style, 1 star for engineering. Wore them for a couple of hours - could not feel my foot! Strap was on last hole and still not big enough for my small foot. I can’t imagine anyone being able to wear these. Sad that Doc M allowed these to be made with these issues!

I’m a size 7 wide foot, so i ordered a size 7 and these were too long for me. Even with socks, my heel would slip out. So I’m returning. Really great quality docs though as usual and super cute, love the wide toe box. Perfect for my wide feet, just too long. :(

I saw another reviewer who compared these to general Radcliffe's shoes for Pocahontas. Which have me pause but I love them, these are the cutest pilgrim coded shoes I've ever owned and very comfortable too. Great for work or leisure. If you're debating buying just do it! The show itself is good quality, If you have issues fitting the strap, go with the tighter setting and where things socks or stockings, once I find my setting, I wear thin black socks and just slide my foot in without unbuckling. I don't have any slipping / rubbing on my heels. True to size , toe bow is nice and wide so you're stable on your toes ... show more
