Beautiful brown docs

Just got these today. Going to be honest. I came on here to return them. They are absolutely beautiful boots. When I went to try them on barefoot, I could not get them on to save my life. I was so bummed. It gave me a leg cramp, pulling and trying to squeeze my foot into it. Like I said. So bummed out. When I was trying to return them, it took me back to the boots. I started reading all the reviews about how big they where and was so confused. I'm normally a size 7.5 or 8. BUT, I always order a 7 in all my docs. I went to check the box to see if they accidentally sent me the wrong size, nope size 7. So I thought a moment. I decided to try one more time BUT with a sock on. OMG, they slid right on and fit perfectly!!!! I am so relieved because I really love the dark brown leather and shape of this boot. This is my situation with Doc Martins. My first pair I got where a 8 Devon ankle boot and they where big. I didn't know if that was normal for these boots or not. I tried wearing them with thick socks and there still to big. I feel clumsy wearing them because of the big platform. I couldn't return them because I was past my return time. I still love them though. So for my next pair I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly. So now I only order Docs in a size 7. My experience is they run big. I have narrow feet and sizing down has helped. Comfy after breaking in

Super comfy and love the space in the toes! The shoe is kinda heavy, but honestly I love how I can wear them to work and for a cute outfit. The only downside is the leg of the boot is super snug and sometimes cuts off circulation until you break them in. Overall, best boots I’ve ever had!!

These scream high quality. I love how they look and the richness of the dark brown suede. They are big though and very chunky so if do not want that aesthetic beware. I will be wearing them with oversized jackets tights and button down shirt to balance the chunkiness. Also wide denim and oversized sweaters. Honestly these are so cute! They do run a little big. I am a size 9 in boots and I was still able to wear a thick sock and be comfortable. These are a bit heavy which is natural for docs but highly recommend.
