These are my very first pair of Doc Maartens. I chose this style because of the side zipper , color and awesome platform. They were delivered very quickly ( Thank you Amazon Prime ) and in pristine condition. When I first tried them on, they seemed way too big. However, I put on some thick sock, adjusted and tightened the laces and the fit is right. I have wide feet and going down a size would probably cut off circulation in my toes! I ordered size EU 39, my usual size. The leather is really stiff though so I’m glad they are not hugging my feet to death. I’ll see how they hold up but so far so good! They are lovely. ... show more

These are my first pair of Doc Martens and I'm so glad that I made the purchase. They fit really nice and the zipper on the side of the boots make them so much easier to put on and off. I get compliments every time I wear these out and the slight red hue to these boots look amazing. The quality of these boots are good but only time will tell. ... show more

I love the color and of course the style. It makes you look tougher and more unique. Only a few can really rock this pair of platform boots. It didn't make my feet sore. Just wear thick socks and rub wonder balsam prior to use.

I love these. Yes they are heavy, but worth it. Sizing was a bit confusing. I am a women’s 8/EU 39 in most shoes, including my 1460s. I ordered a 7-7.5, which ended up being a EU 39. Same size as my 1460s. Has the same fit. Some people are saying to size down but I had no issues with my regular size, and I have narrow feet. ... show more

As Dr. Martens boots are cut large, ordering the correct size from this seller was a little confusing. I ordered a 7/7.5 and received a pair of boots that fit size 8 feet. I usually wear a 7 in Dr. Martens so the boots were too large for my feet. The box it came in was an amazon box, not the usual Dr. Martens box, also there were no extra pair of shoe strings. I suggest to size down or wear really thick socks with these. The shoe is sturdy and looks good. It was just a bit too large. I tried to switch out the insoles with gel ones, the fit was a little better but still a little awkward. I ended up giving these away to my sister. ... show more

The shopping was super quick. The quality is actually well done. They shipped me the wrong size by accident, but that's OK. In some reviews I read, people were skeptical of their authenticy. I returned them with no issues and received my refund. I've bought other items, and other Dr Martens on Amazon that people claimed were fakes. Personally I'd never experienced that before. However, with the particular pair, I ended up buying them directly from Dr Martens themselves, and there were noticeable differences. The main thing, the look inside of the sole, all the way to were your toes go. They are beautiful boots, and this color is difficult to find. I'd say give them a try! ... show more

The kind of solid construction you only see in authentic Dr. Martens. The zipper is very sturdy and well made. I was worried about having a pair with zippers since that tends to be a weak spot in most shoes but I don’t foresee it being an issue. I’m a 9/9.5 in women’s and they fit me perfect with a good pair of boot socks (which is needed because of the infamous break in period of new docs). Ten out of ten would recommend! ... show more

    • Too big. Seller didn’t hold up their end of free returns.
I purchased these boots on amazon prime, thinking there was free returns. Unfortunately these boots were too big and the seller didn’t honor the free return. I had to pay 45.00 to send back. This particular style runs very big!
