Size down, even if you are used to docs. I wear doc boots and sandals on a daily basis and really wanted to wear these. My feet kept sliding around in the shoe, like other reviews said. If you have wide feet, do NOT size down. I repeat, do NOT size down. So far, they’re not as heavy as other docs I own. They’re cute and office appropriate. I don’t need the extra height (the thicker sole is probably why people say they’re heavy) but I have found thwm to be pretty comfortable. Definitely good value for the money.

These are absolutely adorable!!! I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect. I like that they are a little bit lower around the ankle bones so they don't rub. As soon as they arrived I put them on, they are so comfortable! Super happy I bought these!

These does are amazing! I love them and love wearing them. They look great, they are heavy and we know that doc Martin's last forever! The only complaint is that they run big, I should've sized down 1/2 a size! I'll just wear thicker socks with them because I love them so much! I'm afraid my daughter is going to steal them. Hàha
