I just got these today. Since I tried a few Combs boots on in the store, I knew that I had to SIZE DOWN to a 7 when my normal sneaker and boot size is 8.5. That's a big jump imo but whatever. They fit well and hug my slightly narrow foot nicely. I just took them for a 40 minute walk with the dog and there was almost no discomfort. They aren't big and clunky which I like- I wanted a boot that was more every day, that I could wear to work and that would hopefully be ok for short periods in the never-ending Seattle winter rain. They aren't advertised as being waterproof or water-resistant, but I plan on spraying them with something. For longer outings and heavier rain I can always wear my Danner Viscious boots. Obviously I can't comment on durability or how well they do in the rain or how good the traction is yet, but I will try to remember to update this review in a few months. ... show more

I've been using Dr. Martens since 2021 and I can only say that the quality is impressive. In my job, I have to move a lot and spend a lot of time standing and walking. Docs are notorious for creating the biggest blisters know to mankind, so be mindful of this when you first get them and don't plan to wear them for long periods as they're incredibly durable and take extra time to break in.
