I have a size 11 foot - never fit a size 10 - and I had to return these and get a refund due to sizing. My feet completely came out the back like a (heavy) flip flop - no way I could wear these. 1) I found them cheaper on DSW site with free shipping. 2) when I went to return, there were less options for return due to item cost (no return through local stores - had to get pickup at my cost or drop off at UPS location). That said - if you are reading this to find out about the shoe - well made, beautiful shoe that was quite comfortable to wear (from a middle aged woman with flat feet)! I anticipate they will last for a very long time.

Promised my daughter a pair of Docs once her feet stopped growing so fast. Since her shoe size hasn't changed in a year, it was time, and she picked these. They run large so I had to buy them twice and send a pair back after she picked the safest bet (she's a half size unfortunately, and she has to wear thick socks with these). They are also really heavy, heavier than expected. Very, very cute though!

They fit me just fine, I normally wear an 11/12 US depending on the shoes. They do slip a bit on the ankles so I will use inserts for that. I believe they will last a long time. They are heavy but that is to be expected - overall I love them and would recommend ♥️

Love my Dr. Martin, always buy .Appearance same as photo .Very for the money will have for years wishing the did a olive green or oxe blood color. Comfort great fit a bit heavy but they are heavy duty shoes non slip . Size is good got size 8 normally 7.5 but good .

I couldn’t wear these shoes at first because the top tire was so hard it tore the skin on my toes. These shoes are really heavy but they are great quality. Had to wear socks at first. Then had to glue padding to the toe. After that all was good.

OK how can they be a bit big and a bit small all in one? And how to fix? I am always an 8 in Docs. I got the 8. My little toe was squeezed painfully and my heel slipped out. How? I don't know. But I shall tell you how I fixed both problems: 1) Little toe squeeze = break in the shoe with the Wonder Balsam by Dr. Martens. DO NOT only use on the outside. Apply liberally on the INSIDE of the shoe where it is too tight. Strap the shoe on right away and sit and/or walk around the house. Do this every morning/night whenever it's easiest to put them on for an hour or more. Then start going grocery shopping in them. And go from there. You'll find that they expand. BUT make sure to stuff them with balled up newspaper or magazine paper when you take them off to keep up the good work you achieved. 2) heel slippage = get those adhesive heel slippage thingies. Apply one. Works? great. Still slipping? add another one on top. It took 2 stacked on top of each other to help me. Voila. Gorgeous very well made beauties that seem like they will never go out of style and will wear like iron. I esp love the pebbled leather that won't show wear as much as the smoothies (looking at you, Ms. Leona)!

These are great. I ordered an 8 thinking that's the typical EU 39 but they arrived as UK 8 which is a US Womens 10 and EU 42. When buying this fabulous shoe please know your UK size your EU number and I ordered a UK 6 to get my daughters 8.5 women's US and EU 39 as was originally intended. Now we'll match as I'm keeping my mistake yay! I hope this helps others confusion as this vendor is listing the UK as they are a UK shoe maker. I'm keeping the mistake to match my daughter as UK 8 is my size US 10 EU 42. The leather is out of this world high end like you'd desire a fabulous hand bag but they're sturdy and with the right fit they aren't clunky or heavy really at all for a platform! They make a over the foot heal rubber gasket in the event you have slippage or blisters just FYI. Love Them!
