I ordered my normal size. I feel like if I ordered a size smaller they would be too small. My feet do slide a little in them but I think once winter comes and I wear heavier socks it won’t be a problem. These are so cute and surprisingly comfy! They are a little bit heavy so keep that in mind but so far I’ve worn them to work with thick socks and had no blisters or foot pain.

Adorable! I’m a true 7.5 in most brands but always size down to a 7 in docs. These are still slightly large, but a 6 is too small. If I wear thick socks they’re perfect!

I wear a size US 7, but wear a size 6 in Docs. Size 6 was too small, Size 7 too big. The length in the 7 was fine, but my heel was slipping out the back of the shoe big time. I tried different grippers and pads, etc. but nothing will work for me with these shoes. Super-bummed as the shoes themselves are awesome and really cute..... ... show more

I don’t usually write reviews, but these are worth the extra effort. They’re low cut enough not to rub on the back of my heels and ankles, wide enough in the toe box for complete comfort, and squishy enough to wear all day. Like most platform Docs they are HEAVY, but who cares when you look this cute? I’m regularly an 8 in most shoes, 7 in Docs, and the 7s are perfect. ... show more

Great Mary Janes! But hey they’re Docs, you can’t go wrong. I definitely suggest a size smaller than you normally wear. I got my normal size, as my big toe is pretty sensitive to pressure, but even for me, they are roomy. I put two heel pads layered one on top of the other, and now they fit pretty well. I’m going to add another insole as people suggested as well. I just don’t want to return them, too big of a pain. And they’re not *that* big. I love these shoes so much, they go with everything! ... show more

after reading the reviews, i bought a pair of 8s and a pair of 9s because 9s are my true size, but it was recommended to size down. the 8s fit properly, so definitely get a whole size down. these shoes are pretty comfortable, but have no arch support, clearly, and are quite heavy. some of my other shoes are pretty heavy, too, so this doesn't bother me much; just keep in mind their weight! they're also a pretty clunky shoe, as are all doc martens, and my feet are rather big, which kind of makes the shoes' large-ness worse, but they're super cute, and i love the flower buckle detail. i would recommend!! ... show more
