I absolutely adore these boots. I bought a woman's 9 off of the doc martens website initially but I was swimming in them (I'm usually a 9 in almost every shoe) I returned them and ordered an 8 off of here and they fit quite well. I only wish they were slightly wider. I wore them for an 8 hour shift where I stand and walk all day, and my feet def were feeling it. The soft leather helps, but in my opinion there is still a break in period. I conditioned them inside and out with leather oil and let me tell you, don't skip that step if you have any discomfort. They feel perfect now. I will update once I wear them for an extended period of time since conditioning.

My first pair of Docs and I am so happy with them. I usually wear a women’s 8.5 in shoes and ordered a size 8 and these are perfect. I was nervous about them hurting my feet, but I wore them for about an hour last night around the house. While I could feel them rubbing in a couple spots, I feel like they were already starting to break in nicely. I think after a couple more wears they will be better fitted to my feet. Love the chunky platform.

God, these things have taken so much breaking in, and still eat up my heels, but we're getting there. I knew it was a time investment! Very solid stitching and construction in general, true to size, and absolutely make you wish a ***** would. You do feel like you could kick some booty in them (and do some damage, those soles are heavy!) I really like the look of them on, and do not regret this purchase-- The last try before you buy, before they axed the program! Boo!

After one time wearing these boots, the zipper has broken and frayed. It looks like the zipper quality is bad or the sewing quality is bad. I’m very upset about this and do not want to put any effort into sending these back. It’s a terrible inconvenience and makes me loose faith in this company.

I was a '90's kid. I grew up loving Docs, ripped jeans, t-shirts and flannels. These are very bit as comfortable and good looking as any pair I've ever worn, maybe even a bit more cushion-y what with the monster-thick soles. My kid has taken to calling them my "Frankenstein boots." I do, however rate them 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1) The laces provided were not long enough to lace properly, and by that I mean being able to have 8 inches or so on either end to tie them. They're barely long enough to reach the top eyelets, which might be okay if you're going to exclusively use the side zipper to get in and out. Maybe my feet and ankles are just too big, but I couldn't even do that. which leads us to ... 2) The side zip doesn't give me enough room to leave the boots tied and get in or out. Aside from that, they've been great so far. The extra cushion really helps with my lower back pain, so if you suffer from that as I do, I'd definitely recommend some Jadon-soled Docs, even if not necessarily this particular model.

Bought for my daughter after great hesitation due to price. BUT this are her go to shoes, only wants to wear these and not spending money on a bunch of cheaper shoes. She didnt like the zipper style, but agreed to try, we are both SO glad for the zipper, so much easier for wearing. Squeaky at first but after a couple weeks of breaking in it stopped. Bought mole skin for initial breaking in to prevent blisters but didn't even need it!
