LOVE these boots. They’re my favorite docs I own. They’re very comfy, there is a slight break in period but just make sure to wear more compression socks, I’ve noticed that when I wear thicker slouchy socks I can get blisters. I’ve went to many concerts and dance events with these and can literally go all night in them. Overall I also just feel like a BA in them lol ... show more

The product is exactly as described. Top grain leather, fits perfectly and is very comfortable even for extended periods of standing and walking. I'm getting to be an older Gen X fella, so the zipper sides are just that much better for easy on and offs!

I was a '90's kid. I grew up loving Docs, ripped jeans, t-shirts and flannels. These are very bit as comfortable and good looking as any pair I've ever worn, maybe even a bit more cushion-y what with the monster-thick soles. My kid has taken to calling them my "Frankenstein boots." I do, however rate them 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1) The laces provided were not long enough to lace properly, and by that I mean being able to have 8 inches or so on either end to tie them. They're barely long enough to reach the top eyelets, which might be okay if you're going to exclusively use the side zipper to get in and out. Maybe my feet and ankles are just too big, but I couldn't even do that. which leads us to ... 2) The side zip doesn't give me enough room to leave the boots tied and get in or out. Aside from that, they've been great so far. The extra cushion really helps with my lower back pain, so if you suffer from that as I do, I'd definitely recommend some Jadon-soled Docs, even if not necessarily this particular model. ... show more

I absolutely adore these boots. I bought a woman's 9 off of the doc martens website initially but I was swimming in them (I'm usually a 9 in almost every shoe) I returned them and ordered an 8 off of here and they fit quite well. I only wish they were slightly wider. I wore them for an 8 hour shift where I stand and walk all day, and my feet def were feeling it. The soft leather helps, but in my opinion there is still a break in period. I conditioned them inside and out with leather oil and let me tell you, don't skip that step if you have any discomfort. They feel perfect now. I will update once I wear them for an extended period of time since conditioning. ... show more
