When you buy a $200 pair of boots as a gift you expect it to arrive in a Nice original box.. Nope came in a poor quality amazon box.. Secondly the overall quality of this pair of dr martins seemed cheap. Even the tag sticking out of the back seemed like poor quality stitching etc.

These are amazing. I was slightly worried they would have a long break in period since they were my first Docs, but it only took about a week and I got no blisters during that time. They can be hard to pull on/off, but the tabs are very secure and help a ton.

Re sizing: I wear a 7.5 in Nike & Adidas and an 8 in all other shoes and boots. I bought a Womenโs size 7 and while they need to be broken in, they fit well. They are a bit heavy, but that is to be expected with Doc Martens.
