First time I ordered a 6 but they were too small. For some reason they couldn't ship a 7 so I ordered an 8 cuz I really wanted these shoes. This wasn't the reference I ordered, stitching's messed up and they were in fact to big.

The media could not be loaded. Bought these for my girlfriend, for Christmas. Thank God I opened them up before giving them to her later. There are white skid marks on the top of the shoes and creases that look like they’ve been worn already more than once. Very misleading to have brand new, and expensive shoes to buy and get used and scuffed ones. I had to ruin the surprise for my girlfriend and show them to her, we have decided it’s not worth all the trouble of having to return them, that we will try to find some type of polishing to fix them, but still frustrating to have to deal with. ... show more

    • Awesome shoes but confusing sizing
According to the measurements on the Dr. Martens website, I would be a size 5. I measured my feet according to the instructions there. However, after buying these in size 5 on Amazon, they are too tight. I had to return. I ended up getting these same shoes from Dr. Martens on their website in a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I would advise you size down for these. I'm normally a 6.5 or 7 in most shoes and size 6 in these and one other style of Docs fit me. I did need to wear two pairs of socks with the size 6 for a perfect fit. I hope this helps all those confused by the sizing. These shoes look great and feel pretty good. You will need to break them in. My previous Docs lasted over 5 years. Great shoes. Highly recommended ... show more

Cute but had to return. They were so stiff and heavy. So they were not comfortable to wear because of it. Was disappointed because they are so cute but just way too heavy and stiff. I know they would probably break in over time but getting there would be uncomfortable, lol.

The shoes are nice. Only gave a four star rating because the tongue part of the shoe digs into my instep part of my foot. I have to put some cushion between my foot and the tongue. They fit nicely and they do have a little weight to them. I love the platform sole look of the shoe.

    • Cool shoes, inaccurate sizing.
I love the style, but the sizing is way off. I ordered a Women’s 9, which is usually a men’s 7-7.5. Well these are men’s 8’s and they are huge on me. Just really disappointed. Not sure why the sizing is that way.
