These are not as heavy as other dr marten shoes. They are comfortable to wear throughout the day but you need to keep up with cleaning them otherwise they start to look faded

Just got them today and I am in love. I have been watching these for months and finally decided to order them. I read other reviews stating that they ran a little small if you have wider feet so I listened and went up half a size and they fit so great. The black color is perfect to go with everything and I will be looking into other colors soon. Doc’s are durable so I know these will last me a while. They slip on so easy and the strap in the back isn’t flimsy which I like. It’s also adjustable to make a more comfortable fit if you would like. Received Sand color show yesterday, expecting the black ones to arrive today. The shoes I did get are amazing. They appear well made, I reserved a star because of my legit concern regarding the strap coming loose on several reviews. I will update after wearing a few times. The color is just as pictured. It goes with everything! The comfort is 10 plus, absolutely no break in time required. The value was there for me as I caught them at a reduced price, although if they are durable as I expect them to be, they are worth full manufacturing price, IMO. Wearability is effortless, they glide on and thankfully in my case stay on, sock or no sock no problems. 5 star worthy if they perform as expected. ***The Black pair of shoes came in as expected the next day but they were NOT new. They were clearly returns and I promptly sent them right back. I am enjoying the Sand color mules I kept but NO, NO and NO to sending customers returns unless they state its a return up front and the customer agrees. ... show more

These run smaller than normal docs imo. I had to go up to my "normal" size. Normally in docs I'm a 10, but my true size is a 10.5. These I had to order up in. I read all of the reviews with poor strap quality, so I can't speak to them as I decided not to use them. Very supportive, no break in required as a previous review mentions. Worth my $65. So cute but runs small! I have size 37/6 doc sandals and they fit perfectly but these in the same size are overall too short and narrow. Will have to order a size up.
