Size 4 men is equivalent to a size 5 women. I am typically a size 5.5-6 in US women. I ordered unisex Dr. Martens size 4 men (5 women) and they fit snug but they fit well. These are well designed and constructed shoes that appear to be able to hold up and last for awhile. I find these shoes both comfortable and stylish. You could wear these shoes in all seasons although I do not recommend wearing these in any wet condition weather as the material could get messed up. ... show more

These are not as heavy as other dr marten shoes. They are comfortable to wear throughout the day but you need to keep up with cleaning them otherwise they start to look faded

Received Sand color show yesterday, expecting the black ones to arrive today. The shoes I did get are amazing. They appear well made, I reserved a star because of my legit concern regarding the strap coming loose on several reviews. I will update after wearing a few times. The color is just as pictured. It goes with everything! The comfort is 10 plus, absolutely no break in time required. The value was there for me as I caught them at a reduced price, although if they are durable as I expect them to be, they are worth full manufacturing price, IMO. Wearability is effortless, they glide on and thankfully in my case stay on, sock or no sock no problems. 5 star worthy if they perform as expected. ***The Black pair of shoes came in as expected the next day but they were NOT new. They were clearly returns and I promptly sent them right back. I am enjoying the Sand color mules I kept but NO, NO and NO to sending customers returns unless they state its a return up front and the customer agrees. ... show more

These run smaller than normal docs imo. I had to go up to my "normal" size. Normally in docs I'm a 10, but my true size is a 10.5. These I had to order up in. I read all of the reviews with poor strap quality, so I can't speak to them as I decided not to use them. Very supportive, no break in required as a previous review mentions. Worth my $65. Ugh I want to love these so much but the sizing is just not working. I first got the size 7 hoping it would work since I’m a size 71/2 and very rarely 8 in women’s but it was to small so I returned and ordered a 8 since there is no half sizes. Unfortunately they are to big and even with the strap it’s just not working. I think they are cute but they don’t go with a lot of my outfits especially not with socks… the quality is top notch and I don’t doubt they’ll last cause they are durable! On others review with pics they look so nice and stylish and cute they just weren’t for me I guess which is a shame. ... show more
