When the Jadon boot stormed off the production line in 2013, we knew we’d made something special. Over 60 years of our unmistakable DNA, elevated on an emboldening platform sole. An 8-eye silhouette, built from DM’s classic Polished Smooth leather and stacked on a PVC outsole. The Jadon boot retains our Original details: secured with yellow welt stitching and tagged with an AirWair heel loop.

I bought a woman's 9 off of the doc martens website initially but I was swimming in them (I'm usually a 9 in almost every shoe) I returned them and ordered an 8 off of here and they fit quite well. I only wish they were slightly wider. I wore them for an 8 hour shift where I stand and walk all day, and my feet def were feeling it. The soft leather helps, but in my opinion there is still a break in period. I conditioned them inside and out with leather oil and let me tell you, don't skip that step if you have any discomfort. My first pair of Docs and I am so happy with them. I usually wear a women’s 8.5 in shoes and ordered a size 8 and these are perfect. I was nervous about them hurting my feet, but I wore them for about an hour last night around the house. While I could feel them rubbing in a couple spots, I feel like they were already starting to break in nicely. I think after a couple more wears they will be better fitted to my feet. LOVE these boots. They’re my favorite docs I own. They’re very comfy, there is a slight break in period but just make sure to wear more compression socks, I’ve noticed that when I wear thicker slouchy socks I can get blisters. I’ve went to many concerts and dance events with these and can literally go all night in them. Overall I also just feel like a BA in them lol ... show more

After one time wearing these boots, the zipper has broken and frayed. It looks like the zipper quality is bad or the sewing quality is bad. I’m very upset about this and do not want to put any effort into sending these back. It’s a terrible inconvenience and makes me loose faith in this company.

God, these things have taken so much breaking in, and still eat up my heels, but we're getting there. I knew it was a time investment! Very solid stitching and construction in general, true to size, and absolutely make you wish a ***** would. You do feel like you could kick some booty in them (and do some damage, those soles are heavy!) I tried these boots along with the 1460 Pascal Max which is very similar, has the same type of leather but a higher platform. Returned the 1460s and kept these. The Jadons are pictured. The 1460 Max platform doesn't sound much higher on paper, but it's a surprisingly huge difference in function and look. I was interested in the extra height since I'm very short, but 1460 Pascal Max totally looks like a fashion boot and is a bit harder to walk in. I like how the Jadon III still passes as a work boot. I love the look of the Jadon III textured leather, it's very soft, seems higher quality than their smooth leather, and seems it'll be easy to take care of. Pretty comfortable out of the box. I only rate these 4 stars because they're squeaky when walking. I'd like to be more stealthy but it's worth dealing with. My size is normally women's 7.5 - 8, I got size 7 and it fits perfect. But my feet and this boot are somewhat narrow. For men or anyone with wider feet, you probably want to get your normal size or ½ size up. I don't think anyone needs to go a full size up unless you want a ton of room. ... show more
