I didn't give these 5 stars only because I have noticed even with thin socks on the zipper doesn't go down enough or something not sure. I had another pair that the zide zipper was the easiest. As far as the length and the width once I have them on they are as expected. Just a note I wear a 5 1/2- 6 in adult size and I usually get children's shoes as much as I can because they are soooo much cheaper. So the equivalent for me is usually size 3 1/2 in child but, it is hard to find the half size so those of you in same situation buy the size 4. The size 3 would not fit. I have to really push my foot in and then my socks get super tight by my toes. I wish the leather ones were cheaper but, these are good material for the climate I live in when it snows a lot. ... show more

These boot are not heavy and look great. My daughter and I both have them - she just had to get the next size larger. I am a short girl and don’t have a particularly large feet - so o am fortunate to be able to fit into a big kids size.
