Just received them, they were on sale and I thought I’d give 1460’s a try again. Last time I purchased the Nappa black versions I was not impressed with the quality but these were excellent. Very thick quality leather and soles that were similar to those I purchased in the 1990’s. Nicely put together boot! They are made by in Bangladesh not the UK, but I cannot tell much difference with this particular range from the originals I had. For this particular product I would totally recommend. Will update if issues.

Alright. I read a lot of reviews to figure out if these were true to size. Most people say they are. I normally wear size 11US in sneakers, but there was a “like new” size 10US pair here on sale, so I took a gamble. They fit perfectly. Maybe a little snug, but not uncomfortable (toes not touching toe box ). So, yes, they run big. Order at least a 1/2 size down if not full size, unless you like a good amount of room. Otherwise they seem fine, a little stiff but just need to be broken in i suspect.

Very comfortable out of the box and they look awesome. I’m over seventy years old and I’m on my feet all day. It was important that my footwear is supportive and comfortable. Because I have narrow feet I added a Dr Schols insole and loved the feel of my new boots. These are great boots!

Must note that these are my first ever pair of doc martens. Purchased these due to a recommendation from my brother in laws brother. I'm a 10, 10.5 in most sneakers and boots, order a UK 9 and they fit perfectly. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because on my left boot, there was some excess leather on the inside where the tongue met the top of the boot and it was digging into my foot and causing a fair amount of discomfort. A razor blade and some careful cutting removed the excess leather and they are as comfortable as can be. Still I would recommend these and I'll continue to purchase doc martens from here on out, I'll just be sure to double check the area I had an issue with. I'm sure if I reached out to doc martens I could have had the issue resolved with a new pair, but I was too impatient and wanted to wear my boots. Also a plus they were almost $40 cheaper than anywhere else online.

I’ve had these for 6 months so far. Best boots I’ve ever owned. They look better with age and use. I do grounds and property inspections, they provide the perfect amount of protection from the elements that I need. I wear them everywhere I go now, not just to work. Heavy construction work, probably a no go. Especially since they aren’t steal or composite toe. But for an every day wear and light / moderate work wear boot, you will not find a better boot.

Doc, you have knocked it outta the park, AGAIN! This month I have had the privilage to purchase 3 pairs of Doc Martens (actually 5 pairs if you count returns); and the only kink to work out with these beauties is finding the size that is perfect for you..The confusion ends here; it's time that I solve this mystery for all of you... 1. Look at the description of the docs you are interested in; are they men's? Women's? Unisex? (Btw, I have not ventured into any of the children's sizes, so you're on your own in the kiddo department)...Once you know which category the Docs fall into, choose one and stick with it. 2. If you chose mens or womens for step one, go ahead and select the particular size you normally wear in the category you chose from step one. If you are a half size, round up to the nearest whole number (if you are a mens 9.5, you should choose a size 10, like I did for the boots I am reviewing) 3. If you are interested in a unisex pair, women should go down two whole sizes (ex. I wear a womens 8; in a unisex pair of Docs, I wear a size 6)...for men who wear a half size, round up to the nearest whole number size; for men in a whole number size, select the size you normally wear. 4. Be mindful of the UK sizing that can throw an American boot lover all outta whack...if its listed as a UK size, look at the size chart, and I wish you luck! ;) In conclusion, I bought a unisex pair for myself, selected a size 7, and they were like a while size too big still...those I returned for a womens size 8, which fit perfect, therefore were true to size. I ordered my man a mens size 9, which were too small for his 9.5 foot...I exchanged those for a mens 10, and BINGO! Perfect fit for him too...I hope this helps, and if you are on the fence about this purchase, go on and treat yourself to the most amazing boots you will ever have..Thanks Doc!:)

I got my pair during BF week. I was debating between Timberland and Dr.Marten but then I spotted that they were under 80 dollars at that time. So I decided to cop them. I mean I heard lots of good things about their boots. The first impression was that they seemed pretty cheap, material-wise. I would def not buy them if they were over 100 bucks. At some point, I thought about returning them because I had never purchased a pair before and after reading some comments, I was really skeptical about my shoes. After the first day wearing them, I was even more determined to return them because my feet hurt and it was not a comfortable experience. But I still gave them a couple more days because they might fit better if I wore them more often, and they did. Overall, they were fine; I really like the color and they seem comfortable now after a while so I gave them a 3 stars.
