Just received them, they were on sale and I thought I’d give 1460’s a try again. Last time I purchased the Nappa black versions I was not impressed with the quality but these were excellent. Very thick quality leather and soles that were similar to those I purchased in the 1990’s. Nicely put together boot! They are made by in Bangladesh not the UK, but I cannot tell much difference with this particular range from the originals I had. For this particular product I would totally recommend. Will update if issues.

Alright. I read a lot of reviews to figure out if these were true to size. Most people say they are. I normally wear size 11US in sneakers, but there was a “like new” size 10US pair here on sale, so I took a gamble. They fit perfectly. Maybe a little snug, but not uncomfortable (toes not touching toe box ). So, yes, they run big. Order at least a 1/2 size down if not full size, unless you like a good amount of room. Otherwise they seem fine, a little stiff but just need to be broken in i suspect.

Very comfortable out of the box and they look awesome. I’m over seventy years old and I’m on my feet all day. It was important that my footwear is supportive and comfortable. Because I have narrow feet I added a Dr Schols insole and loved the feel of my new boots. These are great boots!

Must note that these are my first ever pair of doc martens. Purchased these due to a recommendation from my brother in laws brother. I'm a 10, 10.5 in most sneakers and boots, order a UK 9 and they fit perfectly. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because on my left boot, there was some excess leather on the inside where the tongue met the top of the boot and it was digging into my foot and causing a fair amount of discomfort. A razor blade and some careful cutting removed the excess leather and they are as comfortable as can be. Still I would recommend these and I'll continue to purchase doc martens from here on out, I'll just be sure to double check the area I had an issue with. I'm sure if I reached out to doc martens I could have had the issue resolved with a new pair, but I was too impatient and wanted to wear my boots. Also a plus they were almost $40 cheaper than anywhere else online.

I purchased these for a Christmas present to myself. I owned Dr martens before and were happy with the quality , The ones sent to me were dark brown not Aztec crazy horse as I defined , the soul is made of material similar in look and color of of what I remember, However these were made of a sub standard rubber compound like hard plastic, the MAIN reason these got sent back to Vietnam was because the left boot was defective and the eyelets did not match , each side of the boot was misaligned so the laces looked diagonal , horrible asymmetric sub standard manufacturing and quality. these boots should have not passed quality control and sold as a premium boot . Maybe the poor soul slaving away making this crap should get the nickle raise he desperately needs and they'll produce better quality.. I'll buy a pair of Sketchers for half the price and double the value..

I’ve had these for 6 months so far. Best boots I’ve ever owned. They look better with age and use. I do grounds and property inspections, they provide the perfect amount of protection from the elements that I need. I wear them everywhere I go now, not just to work. Heavy construction work, probably a no go. Especially since they aren’t steal or composite toe. But for an every day wear and light / moderate work wear boot, you will not find a better boot.

Wore Docs back in my twenties, back then they were made in the UK and took a month to break in and lasted years. Now in my forties I needed to find shoes that fit and that are comfy and that I can wear all day long. So I bought some Docs and I'm chuffed that they still work so well. Okay they are made in China or Vietnam or Thailand depending on the style, and they don't take anytime to break in any more and perhaps they won't last years with consistent wear. That said I've had this pair for over a year and I wear them everyday on my motorbike and they are in great shape. The laces went after some time and getting replacements proved tricky black laces looked dreadful against the brown and I really struggled to get the yellow/brown striped laces that came with them, so it would be awesome if you got a spare pair of laces, but you could say that about a lot of shoes and boot s I suppose. I don't know what made me got for the brown, I'd never had a brown pair of boots before, but I'm glad I did, they go with everything, blue jeans, black jeans... Just make sure you buy yourself a brown belt to match.

Boots arrived on time and they fit fine like the previous 6 pair of Martens I've had. However, the pair I receieved were scuffed and showed obvious signs of previous wear, which is unacceptable. I'll order my next pair from another vendor in the future. Update: Additionally, I've never had a pair of these boots last less than 2 years. This pair suddenly split horizontally along the heel yesterday rendering them worthless.
