I bought these for my 12, going on 25, granddaughter and she loves them. Actually, that's an understatement, she lives in them. They've become a bit of a trademark. She gets compliments on them all the time. She was required to wear a dress for a production and she chose a white lace, off the shoulder, dress and paired it with her purple, iridescent, Doc's. It was *her* and she looked great. She says they're super comfortable. They are holding up extremely well. The body of the boot shows no wear or scuffs after almost daily wear for several months. Great value, great durability, great comfort, and a super cute boot. Above all, one super happy grandkid. I guess I'll be purchasing Docs for the foreseeable future.

My 9 year old daughter LOVES these boots! She always got them dirty and I was able to easily wipe them clean. They never scuffed or ripped AT ALL. LOVE them!! I wish I could get them in sizes 5Y, 6Y, 7Y & 8/Y

This is my 6th pair of Doc's and 3rd pair of 1460's. I usually order the kid's sizes because they are cheaper. I sized up to a 4 instead of a 3 and I'm glad I did! They are roomy and soft! No stiffness and no harsh breaking in because we all know Docs can be tough to break in. I snagged these for an amazing deal on here and am hoping to get a new black pair soon. These boots are made tough and will last for years and even when you beat them into the ground...they still go and look amazing. 10/10 highly recommend!

I sometimes buy children's shoes for my little feet. I wear a women's size 6 and these are big enough for very thick wool socks with room to boot, pun intended. They are stark white, which is what I wanted but might be a bit much if that isn't your thing. The leather is very thick and stiff at first but they didn't cause any blisters or chaffing. You know how sometimes you know you're not going to wear/use something often, but it would be perfect for the right event/situation? That's these pair of boots! They are perfect! Are they comfortable? Yes. After wearing them for 10 hours in my classroom, I was ready for slippers, BUT they were comfortable enough for the day. And they are stinking cute! I wear a women size 7.5/8 and these were perfect. Hard to beat for a Doc Martens price!

You should not expect these boots to last very long if you wear them outdoors or if a kid is wearing them. When I bought these, the price was low for this brand, which is reasonable for its anticipated lifetime. It will be comfortable and beautiful until the glossy lamination starts to peel. The manufacturer's tag that comes attached to the brand new boot says that due to the shiny finish on these beautiful boots, you are not to scuff them or get them wet. I have not been able to find a use for them yet since it is very rainy. I'm disappointed that I can only wear my new boots around the house until boot weather is over. What I discovered by indoor use: They come with a complete insole which apparently some Docs do not. My feet get a little hot in them compared to my adult size Docs (which are not a shiny finish). There was no break-in required. They are lightweight. They crease easily. There is chunky glitter distributed throughout the transparent material of the soles. It is not glitter glued to the surface.
