This is the 2nd pair I buy for my daughter! My granddaughter prefers wearing dresses at this point in life. And she prefers wearing dressier type shoes. These Dr Martens are perfect. They are shiny, like patent leather. They are comfortable and very sturdy. She can run in them and the soles are great on pavement snd playground equipment for climbing etc. she has between medium to wide feet and they fit comfortably width wise.
