Used on 97 k1500 plow truck without heat connection. Works good with power controls. The two heater leads and heat feature not using since my truck did not come with the feature originally.

OE mirror passenger side of 1999 GMC Suburban popped off its mount. Only about half glued and mirror started dropping down on the mount. OE replacement mirror was super expensive, not even worth considering. This is a terrific fix! Looks fine and it also is said to be heated. We were going to look into trying to re-glue the OE mirror but now we may not have to mess with it. One thing - our OE mirror had a feature to minimize headlight glare, the connectors for the replacement seem to lack a pin connector for this, but for the price, right now we are good to go. ... show more

    • When I pulled the mirror from the box the glass fell from it
I was very dissapointed with the quality of this mirror. When I recieved it I took it out to the garage to install it on my truck as I had removed the old one the day before. I pulled the new one out of the box and the mirror fell of and landed on the bottom of the box as I pulled it out. I picked up the glass with the adhesive on the back and repressed it onto the housing. The force of doing that caused two of the mirror adjustment guide pins to come loose. I managed to repress them where they belonged and hang the mirror. Now I just wonder how long the mirror glass will remain adherred to the housing before it just falls off. The mirror adjustment pins are nothing like the factory mirror. They are very cheap looking plastic rods. ... show more
