After many years of subscribing to DSC I became very fond of their razors, how they worked, how they lasted and how they cut constantly. I did have to buy a handle off Amazon once to replace the one that broke, no big deal. I'm posting this several weeks after my purchase just to make sure they cut the same and last, they do! Fast forward to a few months ago when this new box showed up with all new heads and handle, cool, an "updated" razor! Nah, it was complete trash! One of the original heads lasted for a long time since I don't shave daily, I killed that entire box of 4 in less time than just 1 of the original with a worse cut. I cancelled, they begged across several clicks screens to stay but I walked. A little research and I found who made the original blades, came to Amazon and here they are! Ordered a pack and after a test I knew these were them! I'll buy these from now on!! ... show more

I had Dollar shave club the executive 6 blade for years, well made and accurate. Then DSC decided to send me a new handle with complete garbage 6 blade razors, because they were discontinuing the item. I had to go over the same patch of lawn countless times so thanks for nothing DSC and you got rid of a loyal customer. BUT GUESS WHAT!! These razors fit the old executive handle fairly well, in fact they are almost identical. So, it's working pretty great for me and just going over the lawn once. I've used Dorco for probablly 8-10 years. its a dumb name for a good razor. my bone of contention is that the handles lose their love after 8 months or so and need to be replaced. I'm not sure that I have room to complain about that but there it is. the blades last 4-6 shaves. I shave every other day usually. its fine. One can make a winning case that some more expensive blades are better. I won't argue. like I said. Good blade at a very good price. ... show more

I have used Dorco Blades for years, even before moving their store to Amazon. This may be my imagination but I do not believe the quality of these blades equaled that of my last purchase of Dorco blades. They are still good yet the plastic parts of the blade look like they were 3-D printed, rough. On the last blades, the plastic was smooth and shiny. Whether that affects quality, longevity, or anything else, I cannot assess. I purchase a year's supply at a time. ... show more

I have nearly tried all store brand razors and gimmicky ones. These are THE BEST! Smooth, effortless glides shave your face clean and softly. They hold up over at least 4-5 shaves for me (and I have rough facial hair). The grip on the actual razor is sturdy and tough. The glide strips are super soft and lube your face nicely as you shave. I cannot recommend them enough. Men, if you like to save money and want an excellent shave, ditch Gillette, Schick, DSC and Harry's and get these! You will not be disappointed. ... show more

    • Bringing the DSC executive handle out of retirement

These are the exact blades that DSC use to make for the executive handle. The only difference is the DSC ones were white and these are black. If you still have your executive handle, you can buy these blades and dust off your handle.

These razor blades still make all of the "beard clubs" razors look silly by comparison, and the only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that the pro version is slightly better than the sport version.

This razor for shaving is probably the best purchase I've ever made as far as Shavers go six blades do a fantastic job I wouldn't use anything other than this after having such a great experience with this product
