So far, I am very happy with this perfume. I am not a perfume newcomer - I have a wide range of perfumes, different scent profiles, ranging from 60 to 400 dollars a bottle. I am picky in what I buy and what I wear. I will not lie, I am not sure I expected to like this one. I don’t usually lean toward Rose scents or scents that are fruit forward, and this list rose and raspberry as the top notes. My husband recognized immediately that I was wearing a new perfume, and he wasn’t even near me, so I will say the projection is really good. Each time I have worn it he has noticed right away, and not just front being next to me. (My daughter noticed and liked it a lot too - and she will be honest if she doesn’t!) my husband, said to him this smelled more spicy and sexy, and like a date night perfume. I was expecting it to be a little more fruity and every day where, and I probably still wear every day, but that was a nice surprise. That tells me that the amber and musk come through real well. He doesn’t give out the “sexy/date night” label easily for a perfume. He will also be incredibly honest when I have a new perfume, but he really really likes this one. From the notes listed, I expected this to possibly be a little mature or old lady for me. But it is not at all I really like it. I don’t like anything that leans old lady at ALL and this does not. Longevity is very good too. I sprayed it on all of the typical pulse points as well as my clothing in the morning. Much later in the day, even after changing my clothes, my husband had asked if I just sprayed perfume on - and I hadn’t. He was still getting the scent from my skin from the morning. This is a big bottle at 100 mL. When I buy a full size 100 mL bottle, it usually cost far more than this. It’s currently around 156 for a bottle. Given how much we like the scent, the projection, and the longevity, this is a good price to me. I am excited to have added this to my collection!

The Donna Karan Cashmere Collection Rose Absolu Eau de Parfum is a rich/classy, elegant floral (almost hint of peach) with slight warm undertones. It feels sophisticated and luxurious like I'm not sure you can pull this off just wearing anything. It feels like something a grown up rich woman would be wearing. 🌹 Scent Profile & Depth: It's rose but I keep smelling peach in this. Like it is bright and uplifting but classy. 💎 Performance & Longevity: The projection isn't really there. I get hints of it. It isn't skin scent. It is light projection to moderate. It is lasting on my skin well but I do spray it all over me when testing along with my clothes. ✨ Versatility & Occasion: I can't say this is an easy throw on when wearing just anything. It is more for when you are put together but other than that, it is a good one for everyday Not for teens. This is leaning more toward spring/summer scent though ✅ Pros: • Rich, sophisticated rose fragrance 🌹 • Smooth • Long-lasting EDP performance • The look of the bottle, with the price, really sums up what this smells like ⭐ Overall: I don't like florals as they usually come off old lady, but this doesn't. Rose is more in the background. I really get more of a hint of peach or something really bright to my nose coming forward as I keep smelling it. It is very bright almost sweet but warm but not juvenile at all. I would expect a rich woman to smell like this. It's very good honestly as much as I'd like to dislike this for the high price tag. It is somewhat unique though because it's not like a giorgio armani si peach but different.

I really wanted to love this perfume, and I wish I could smell the different layers that others seem to pick up on. For me, this was an absolute and total vintage rose bomb. It smelled of nothing but suffocating roses, and I wasn't able to find any of the other notes like the raspberry, musk, or amber. To my nose, it’s a very linear, dry rose scent that stays exactly the same from the first spray. This is definitely what people call a "beast mode" fragrance. It lasts an eternity and projects very far. Unfortunately, that wasn't a good thing for me since it ended up being headache inducing and made me feel a bit ill for the rest of the day. If you’re sensitive to strong florals or heavy rose scents, I’d definitely be cautious with this one or try to find a sample in a store before buying the full bottle. I was really hoping for a soft, balanced fruity floral with some warmth. On the positive side, the packaging is absolutely exceptional. The bottle looks like a piece of art, and the cap is heavy and magnetic. The whole design feels very luxurious and soothing to look at. If you’re someone who gravitates toward a very strong, dominant rose, this would likely be a wonderful addition to your collection. It just didn't sit well with my chemistry.
