Knowing this dress was white and absolutely would be see through I bought it as a beach coverup for Hawaii. It is very pretty and good quality but definitely shows your whole underwear lol. The top has coverage though because of the lace so you don’t need a bra, but you’d need a slip for the bottom if you wanted to wear it out. I’m 5’8 around 140 pounds and ordered the size Small. Love this dress so much! Wore it for family photos this summer on the beach in OBX and it was perfect. Beautiful white as far as color goes.. not too thick and not too thin either! Fit like a glove and not too low cut / showy. If it's a chilly night, this dress would probably provide a bit of warmth if you use it with a sweater. Dress it up or dress it down!! I am 5’3 123-127 lbs depending on time of day and got the small. It was a little loose in the waist but it didn’t drag on the ground and was comfortable so it was perfect for my micro wedding and photographed well. It was also not see through.

This dress is better quality than I expected! Not see through. It runs slightly big. I’m 5’8” and 165lb. I ordered medium (I typically wear large), and it still has room in the waist. The back panel is stretchy.
