The style of the sleeves and bodice is awesome. I really like how it fits, and it's flattering while also hiding some areas I don't love. The problem for me was the length. It's almost ankle-length on me (5'7"), which is unflattering on me. The length made the dress look dowdy on me. I'd imagine that if it was on someone shorter (to make it full length) or if you hemmed it to a better length, then it would be the perfect dress for work, weddings, etc. ... show more

I like this dress well enough, but the fabric is so heavy, there is no way I would be able to wear this all day during the summer. It will probably be okay for a date night indoors in someplace air conditioned, but the sleeves are just long enough to bother me if it's hot outside, and the length is a lot longer than I was expecting. I am not a girl that wears full body slips, but dang this dress needs it. The fabric is weirdly heavy but also see through? And it's long, like hits a weird spot on my shin, and i'm 5'8", so if you're a shorter girlie, know this is going to be almost floor length. This dress is beautiful with very soft material. The cloth has a very silky feel to it but is thick enough to keep you warm. It was true to size although just a tad bit too big in the chest for me. I am just under 5ft and this dress came down to nearly my ankles so be careful with length. I will probably get it altered for next spring because it’s so comfy and pretty. Based on the reviews I expected this dress to be so much more than I got. The material isn't thin, but it's not very heavy either. It also has a lot more stretch than I would've thought. I have a wedding to attend in about a month and assumed this would be something I could wear, but it isn't. This feels more like a nice summer dress than something to be worn to a formal event. The size is also too big. Based on what I know of myself and the size chart this should be a perfect fit and with the amount of stretch I could easily have worn a size down.
