I ordered this Dokotoo women's dress in size medium color green for a family member that measures 5’7” 130lb and it fits her as expected. Most garments flatter her tall slender build, however, the waistline on this particular dress doesn’t so much. I think it’s the thicker elastic at the waist. The model in the photo must have a teeny tiny waist. I wonder if adding a belt would help. The bodice material is very comfortable and stretchy while the skirt is a cotton not stretch feel. The description lists the material as “93%Viscose+7%Elastane”. I had to look up viscose to find that it is fabric made from wood pulp and is comparable to cotton but without stretch, so I’m assuming the 7% elastane was added to help with that. I don’t see a material listed for the bodice. The tags list a variety of materials (as shown in photos) but not any of the materials named in the advertised description. The cut of the skirt with the ruffles and slit give plenty of room though and still make it very comfortable. There is a side zipper which makes it is to don/doff. The color green option is pretty true to what the photos show. There are parts of the description that are incorrect: the dress does not have “spaghetti strap”, “adjustable spaghetti straps”, and the skirt portion is not a “stretchy blend”. I also don’t think it’s “great for your body shape, designed to subtly bring out your shape” – unless you have a tiny waist and lots of curve, the waistband may not be flattering.

When I saw this on the website, the flowers and dark blue color had me dreaming of my favorite summer or spring dress. I’m 5’5 and around 165 pounds. I wear a medium (size 8). So, I decided to put the dress on by pulling it up. Before I noticed the side zipper. I had to pull it up past my hips because it didn’t go up easily. The fabric in that area is a bit tight. Pulling this over my head, not sure that’s better because I have a 36DD chest. What’s crazy is that the top of the dress is loose. Loose as in baggy up top. The bottom was a bit tight and top is loose tells me the sizes are off with this dress. Because I love the color, style and design I’ll get someone to fix the top. I’ll ask about the bottom but I’m more concerned with the top.

These dress is really comfortable. I’m not completely sold on the cut of the skirt. It just looks weird on me. As does the entire dress itself. I don’t know if it’s the cut or shape or I just don’t look good in this cut of dress . I’m still going to wear it this summer and maybe it’ll grow on me. Plus it’s comfortable and even though I don’t really care for how it looks on me, it isn’t ugly, if that even makes sense.
