I’m 5’5” and 140 lbs. I ordered a size 8. Wore them the day after I got them and they were super comfy and pretty flattering. What I liked best: I didn’t really need a belt, as they sat high enough to fit nicely on my waist. Great color. Love the way my butt looked, because back pockets weren’t too high. What I didn’t expect: I’m kinda curvy, so the pockets gapped a bit at the sides where my hips are widest. Wish the drape was better. See last photo. A real mid-waist, not high. I have a shorter torso so it comes up about an inch under my belly button, and that works for me. White is semi-see-through. I always wear nude underneath, but for most comfort I prefer an untucked shirt or tunic. Nice, light cotton feel that has structure. I am in central Texas (and it helps me when others mention their climate), so it was important that these not be too heavy and remain breathable. I haven't worn them in the deep summer yet, but anywhere from 50s-80s °F and they feel good. Tiny, tiny bit short - I have a 31.5" inseam, and they just work with my flattest sandals. I may still add a half inch or so of fabric to the bottom for length, but they work for now just fine! Also white color is white, not yellow-cream or ivory, but not optic white either, just plain white. ... show more

I really like these summer pants and it's red! So cute with white stitching! So it's 5 stars. BUT I had to return it due to damage. Purchased 2 sizes to try on and unfortunately the size that fits needs to be exchanged. The accompanying photo shows 1 with the original packaging and a 2nd bag that the damaged pants were in. These were obviously a return. The photo also has the stains circled. The fit is good, quality seems to be fine. I might update the review after recvg another pair. I absolutely LOVE these pants!! They fit perfectly. The material is so soft. I can dress them up easily to go out with friends, etc, and I can dress them down easily. I wore these on the plane this past weekend and they are extremely comfortable. I was also able to wear them in cold weather, with snow, and was extremely comfortable. I just started checking online for more options from Dokotoo, as their clothes are perfect for me, and I am sure many others. I would share pictures but I am always the one taking the pictures because I love photography. They do not have any smell to them, there is absolutely no shrinkage, even after many washes, they are durable and functional as I stated above, and the material is extremely soft and the perfect thickness. The only downside is the price. However, they ARE worth it for that price, I would love to see more sales. ... show more

Size: 12 Color: Black
I have purchased multiple colors of these pants for these reasons: They are excellent quality, fit well, and flattering despite it being a wide leg design. It is also well proportioned to skim the lines of the body. Amazon suggested size 16, which was way too large, but I ended up keeping it and tailoring it. I then purchased size 14, which was still roomy, but could work, so I kept it. Size 12 was perfect. My measurements fluctuate, but are (at my biggest range) waist 35 and hip 45. The size 12 still has room because of the inherent stretch in the fabric, and you don't have to fight to get buttons done, and it glides over your curves for a really good fit. Based on the purchase of the black, navy and white options, I recommended that the vendor includes garment measurements as well as body measurements as a guide to selecting your best size, but I hope giving my measurements and the size that actually fit helps. Size 10-12 is my brick and mortar no-stretch size, but I opted for the size 12 because I don't like pants that are too close fitting. Returned to purchase these in the APRICOT color. It was NOTHING and I mean NOTHING like the picture. The color was like a regular chino khaki sand color with no contrast stitching. The whole point of this design is the look of the contrast stitching against the color of the garment. The color wasn't even close. Instead of the linen look in the picture, it was just a solid sand color with tone on tone stitching that was virtually invisible. Such a disappointment after having had such a positive experience with the first purchases. Buyers beware. This product is inconsistent, as reviews indicate. But maybe you'll be lucky as I was with the first few purchases in navy, black, gray, and white options. ... show more

I got size 4 in White. I like the white because you don’t see the stitching. They fit like a dream (105 lbs) AND the perfect length (5.5”) . They are roomy but still slimming, light but not see thru.
