I loved the look of the Dokotoo Womens Mini Dress right away when I saw the pictures. I thought it would be a perfect dress for my body shape. I’m 5’2”, 125# and 33”x28”x38” and I purchased a size small. The small was the perfect fit so this dress is true to size. What this dress did for my pear shape was accentuate the top half of my body with its sleeve ruffles while contouring into my waist making my waist look tiny. Additionally, the lower half of the dress drapes over my hips which now look smaller than my bust because of the ruffled sleeves. What a fabulous design that makes my shape look more like an hour glass! The length of the dress on me is just above my knees. I’m unclear as to why this dress is described as an “elegant bow tie mini dress.” This dress does not have a bow tie. In the description it also says the dress has a deep V neck. It is more of a bateau/Sabrina neckline. The material is very soft, smooth and comfortable. It will definitely keep me cool in the summer because of its light material and loose fit. There is no lining in this dress, so a brassiere will be helpful with contouring. I’m thrilled that the dress has deep pockets! Pockets are such a convenient feature on any dress in the day and age of the cell phone. The dress can be dressed up with a hat, jewelry, belt, necklace and/or fancy shoes or it can be worn casually. It will flatter many different body types. Great purchase!

The first time I put on the dress there was a large hole in the seam of the left pocket! I plan to repair it myself, but perhaps be aware of potential manufacturing flaws when ordering. Everything else seemed to be in order and the dress is cute, comfortable (super soft material), and flattering.
