My dog and I love this playpen. He hurt his back leg (torn ligaments) and has to stay still for 6 weeks. So, I bought this playpen. The price was good, it came quickly, it's also very sturdy, and it was easy as pie to set up. You just push it out on the sides and that's it. My dog loves it, it serves its purpose and it's the perfect size for him. He is a shi-poo, a small dog. It also has its own carrying case and you can fold it up and take it with you wherever you go. I strongly suggest this playpen for your small animal. A toy-size dog fits well in there.

This is a great buy of you just got a puppy. I have it for more than a week now, and it meets all expectations. Puppy is a larger breed, and energized. I got him when he was 2 months old. The first few nights, I used a crate I have from his older brother (42"*28"). But couple of issues with that: 1. The crate is heavy. Once you put it in a spot, it is not intended to be moved around multiple times a day. 2. The crate was too big - for a puppy that young of an age - it did not provide any coziness or warmth. I know I could buy a smaller crate - but this did not make sense for me, because he is growing fast. So with the main issue being portability around the house, where during the day - I needed his 'crate' to be next to my desk, and at night, I needed it to be in the bedroom where he won't feel abandoned (he is a baby) - this Playpen is the perfect solution: 1. It is very sturdy - Puppy is having 'escape' attacks every now and then - as hard as he goes with his paws against the walls - and after more than a week - no tears, no breaks. The fort is still standing :) 2. it is very wide inside - I put in a big pillow, a blue pad, a big stuffed toy, a few little toys - and there is plenty of room for him to play in it and sleep when desired. 3. The cover on top, and the fact that the bottom half of the walls are covered - I believe provide puppy a bit more sense of coziness, security and warmth. When he walks around, trying to find his perfect spot to sleep, he leans against the walls, and lays down. 4. Portability - so for me, it isn't so much about travel outside from home - just in between rooms, usually twice a day. It is light weighted, easy to turn on one side and pull out of the room, or fold and hold. I don't fold, because I have his stuff inside, so I just grab and pull. 5. Price - more or less like the other compatible playpens, and yet from the pictures it looks more sturdy than the others, and no extra cost 6. No smell, and easy to clean when puppy pees a few drops when excited before I pick him up. One thing to note - for big puppies, you can't leave them in without zipping the top because the walls will not hold their weight if the stand up and lean on it. For smaller breeds, it should not be a problem. For me - I don't mind, because I feel the closed top adds a sense of security . Puppy is with us for 2 weeks now, only one week in this playpen, about 10 weeks old - and he sleeps through the night no problems. And goes in without a fight during the day or 1-2 hours at a time. I would recommend this for any new puppy owner.

I got this for my newly adopted kitten to slowly introduce him to my home and he did well in it. There were no holes at all even when he tried to claw out of it sometimes. It is quite large, easy to assemble and clean. There was no smell. Its very sturdy and portable.

This is great for cats on road trips! My cat scratched and scratched but couldn’t break out when we had to keep her inside. Plenty of space for a litter box and her bed and food. The bottom appears to repel water so if your pet has an accident it should contain it. It is quite difficult to figure out how to fold though but that may be user error.

I bought this for my husband who was carrying his lab puppy to work everyday. It was a safe containment system which he could pack up easily. She still uses it at 50 lbs but of course could easily get out if she wanted! It seems to be like a crate in that it’s her space and she likes that. The only issue we had was she went through a phase where she liked to dig at the bottom so we just bought a round rug which made it even “cozier”. Was worth every penny!

It’s perfect for two kittens. It’s large enough for a bed, litter box, scratching post and food bowls ( all away from each other ). It has a top closer ( so they can’t climb out ) that makes it easy for you to open & clean, plus a zip closer for them to walk out. It’s well made. I ordered a cover for the bottom that I can pull out & wash if needed. It’s easy to set up. I would highly recommend this.

I can't say enough about this playpen for dogs and cats. It's made so sturdy. I love its door wipes clean if you need to. The top comes off. I'm elderly and it's very hard for me to put things together when I received this playpen I took it out of the pouch and it just unfolded. almost by itself . So easy I just cannot say enough about it. My mini pin goes into the pen and takes a nap. She loves the freedom of the door. Thank you for a great product.

I purchased the dog playpen for traveling with my three small dogs. As it is set up it works fine and the pups enjoy the space. It is very difficult to refold and fit back in the bag to travel. I was very frustrated with it. Some days f the wires in the frame bent very easily during the process. I finally folded it close enough to squeeze back into the bag but I couldn’t zip it closed. Hopefully I can get it folded again when it is time to go home.
