My Maltipoo was only 3.5 lbs when I got this harnes. I was having a hard time finding something that was small enough. It was a little large at first but I like that the “skirt” can be adjusted to fit my skinny long legged baby. And the straps can also be adjusted smaller to help keep it most snug around the neck so she didn’t slip out. Not that she was walking out and about a lot being that small. How Sammie is a beast at almost 5 lbs and the harness is fitting much better. And she would rather be walking in her when we are out on the town. The harnes was pretty stiff when I got it. This is a really cute harness dress that works well as a walking harness. I love the shade of purple, it's really nice looking with my dog's coat. It seems to be well made and I am not worried about it breaking or anything while on a walk. My dog is 16 inches around, and I ordered the size Small which is for dogs up to 17.3 inches. It fits her very well, though I am not sure it would fit a dog that is only 13.7 inches very well. I think it would probably be a bit big for a dog that size. But I don't have a dog that size to try it and see. At least in the middle and upper end of the size range, it should work out fine. My dog looks super cute in this dress harness! ... show more
