I was having carpal tunnel issues in my wrists for a couple weeks so I went to store and bought a pair of wrist braces. They were too flimsy and didn’t provide the support I needed. So I returned them and bought another pair with good support, but man they got so itchy and were uncomfortable. So I came to Amazon and tried these. This is my third time ordering this brace. It helps with wrist pain from holding your baby for long periods. It’s interchangeable between right and left hand which is very helpful. It is easy to use and functional. I have worn it through the night and found it comfortable.

As somebody with small hands, I had a hard time finding a thumb spica splint that fit. This one was the best that I found. I wore this brace 24/7 for 2 weeks while I was giving my thumb time to rest after overworking it and completely losing all range of motion and it held up beautifully. It does not impede the use of the rest of your hand and keeps your thumb in an extended, but comfortable position. As a nurse, I am very critical of braces and how they rub my skin and this one didn't rub too much. There is a seam right along the inside of the thumb between thumb and forefinger that bothered me, but I placed a cotton pad under the material and it was no longer an issue. After several months of use (typically while sleeping) I can see some wear on this brace, but the velcro is holding up well as is the thumb support. ... show more

Purchased as a daytime 'activewear' accompaniment to a nighttime wrist brace. It's not a cure but it is proving to be a good aid. Fit and comfort are very good. It would be nicer in a flesh-colored option.

    • Great stabilizer, comfortable to sleep in; but thumb Velcro does not stay attached

This product works. Period. The stabilization plates are perfectly positioned and padded such that you don’t feel them at all. It’s pretty slim for these things; but is really nicely adjustable. I sleep in this almost every night, and am not bothered by it at all. I’m treating carpal tunnel and some repeated spraining/straining of the joint where the thumb bone meets the wrist. The first night I wore this, the next morning I felt about 60% improved. After about a week of solidly wearing it, which also helped me be more mindful of avoiding activities/motion’s that strained the joint, I felt no more pain at all. After about 3 months of wearing it most nights and sometimes during the day, even with repeated additional strains /tweaks/sprains of the joint during the day when I wasn’t wearing it, it feels about 1,000 times better than before I had this. I’m still healing; but I would not have been if not for this. My only complaints are the Velcro on the thumb doesn’t stick to anything; and it doesn’t stay stuck once you get it as stuck as you can. Thus the 4 stars instead of 5. And the hand strap is a little long for my little hands; but I’m not docking anything for that because I wrap it down at an angle to the wrist, then wrap the wrist strap over it. Both of those straps have good Velcro that sticks really solidly to almost all parts of the brace. The only other thing that I’ve noticed is that I can still injure or strain the joint while wearing the brace because it doesn’t stabilize the wrist down the forearm. I’d like to see if this company makes something like that. ... show more
