I bought a pair of these before from somewhere else, they wore out after a couple years so I bought these ones from here. The only reason why they wore out is because I wore them every day, and unfortunately I have surprises. There are some days that I think I'm going to a business meeting only to end up in a construction site. Personally I find them to be comfortable, with a good arch support without having to buy another insert. I could probably walk for miles in these, I think I probably did lol. They fit exactly as they should. What's great about this style is that you can wear them casually, or part of a dress attire and they will always look sharp while they're being comfortable. I having been buying these shoes for years and wearing them. I really love them, I like the design and the way they fit me and the way they have a comfortable feeling. However I have bought a new one since recently because my old one got worn out and upon buying a new one and I recognize there was a slight change in the design. I wore them to church and upon wearing them I recognize the stitching start come a part at the top and I am like wow! I not even wore the shoes twice and the stitching started to pull away. I am very happy with these shoes. the material feels somewhat thick and durable. however they are not so hard that they hurt your foot. I have walked with them for a long time and they support my foot very well. The template is screwed up to your type of footprint and that was a great advantage for me because I have bad footing and I tend to deform my shoes. which at the end of the day leaves me very tired on the soles of my feet. With this type of sole I avoid that problem and the sole does not deform or wear easily in places where my other shoes are damaged. I have been using them for almost 2 months and I am very satisfied. I pass the test on my foot that deforms my shoes . As for the color I must decor that it is bright and feels quality, very similar to luxury shoes They are resistant but at the same time very comfortable inside. I can use them comfortably with my dr. school and they feel great, my foot is not tight because they are wide. I leave you some images for you to compare and measure with your foot so that it gives you the correct size. I ask all the people who buy shoes by amazon to please: take photos of your shoes measurement in inches or centimeters. This way, the other buyers will know our size better and we will also avoid the annoying problem of making a return. Shipping was super fast and everything came in a conveniently sized box. My first impression out of the box was that they sort of look like bowling shoes. Remember the bowling shoe craze in the early 2000's? I had a pair, they were all leather, a bit heavy, but were durable as heck and always looked nice. I got rid of them when society said they were no longer fashionable and I regret every doing that. They were great shoes and never seemed to show any wear. I hope these shoes hold up like those shoes. I think these shoes can be worn for both work and play.     • These Shoes Have Quite a Bit Going For Them But...
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
The Good: Leather (or leather like) interiors are very comfortable and as someone with feet on the wider side, needing of moderate arch support, spending 6 hours a day on my feet and 2 sitting down these did a great job. My work is fairly lightweight but does involve a lot of walking. I didn’t feel excessive fatigue and slipping them off without untying them effortlessly due to smooth interior is a plus at the end of the day. Though I’m not crazy about the style, I prefer a classic oxford with a capped off toe look, these aren’t the most hideous shoes I’ve worn, but certainly not the most attractive either. I did not mark down my review for style as I knew it was something I was getting into on purchasing. Other people have complained that the shoes are “noisy,” I’ve had absolutely no problems with stealthiness in my casual business style step. The Bad: These shoes seem to scuff fairly easily and due to the semi-squared toed design, scuffs seem to cover more of the shoe than I would like. If you want to maintain the illusion of professionalism they may require more shoe polish than your standard pointed toe oxford. If you are working in a strictly casual business environment these will probably be more than adequate, but if you need to more things, or bump into things in an uncoordinated manner such as myself, you will likely find you shoes looking worse for wear. These shoes do a terrible job for slip prevention, again, shouldn’t be a factor if you’re in an office, but anyone in the service industry should expect to be disappointed in this regard. The Ugly: One thing I expect from my shoes and my clothing is the ability to withstand basic use for extended periods of time. In a carpeted environment, spending approximately 6 hours a day on my feet, five days a week, these shoes only lasted me 4 or 5 months before wearing through the rubber on the bottom to a point where they no longer could keep out moisture. Price for performance I would give these shoes a very low score. I bought these shoes on sale for about $50, regular price $75, but still feel, for how long the shoes lasted me that even on sale, I still paid way too much. I bought a pair of Dr. Scholls Lug style shoe as a replacement, which I would describe as inferior to this shoe as far as comfort and pertinacity for wear, but superior in the factor of anti-slip for anyone that may be comparison shopping. I have a pair of Condor’s Wyoming Style work boots that have temporarily taken over for these more professional looking Dockers, I’d highly recommend those to anyone who is on their feet regularly with no one to impress. Good luck, men’s shoes seem to be a black hole of garbage for the most part. ... show more
