  • Very comfortable Dress Shoe
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Black
I’ve owned four pairs of these shoes and all have been and are comfortable. Great fit and looks great. Very good quality too.

  • The perfect cheap professional shoe
As an attorney, I need to dress up a fair bit, and prefer my shoes in black. I am a no-nonsense person who likes clean, functional designs, and feel that these shoes are perfect for me. As long as the manufacturer makes these, I will buy them. It is amazing to me that leather business/dress shoes of this quality are available for a cheaper price than good sneakers. Pros of this model: 1. High-quality leather. All of my pairs have worn in gracefully, without any strange wrinkling or other earmarks of low-quality leather. 2. Will take a shine if necessary. If you know how to spit-shine a shoe (ex-Army guy here), you can make these take a mirror finish with work. They also look good for court or other important appearances with a minimal brush shine. 3. Looks good without being shined. The semi-gloss finish retains its look for a long time. 4. Single-piece sole. I have been through more expensive pairs of Italian shoes than I care to count, fully half of which developed sole or heel problems walking the cobblestones of Boston (I don't know if I have a peculiar way of walking or what, but a shoe has subpar design if it's even possible for a heel to fall right off). 5. Good traction for a professional-looking shoe. This is because of the semi-hard rubber sole material and tread design. 6. Comfortable (very). 7. Cheap. You don't have to worry about ruining them with winter salt, or anything else; you can keep a knock-about pair. They are so cheap you can have a pair for every use. I have an extra pair just to throw at the cat. Or I would, if I had a cat. Cons of this model: 1. Laces which fray easily. (Oh, well. You can't have everything.) ... show more

  • Good shoes for the money
Size: 13 Color: Black
These shoes look good, are well made and fit well. This is my third pair and the only drawback is with the insole. Both of my older pairs started collapsing in the heel. Apparently, the cushion material inside the heel that makes these comfortable to stand and walk in eventually compresses and the insole sinks into the heel (took about a year for me). To be fair, I'm not a skinny or light weight person, but I haven't experienced this sort of thing with a higher end shoe. That's the main reason they aren't five star. The only other remark I'll make is that these are not made for hard core walking on rough city streets and sidewalks. They are made for office use. The first pair I bought got a lot of street time and the upper started separating from the sole after about six months. The second pair have just been used at work and I change into tennis shoes for the walk home. For working in the office, walking around the building and back and forth to lunch they are comfortable and have held up well. I can't fault Dockers for my abuse of the first pair. Considering the price, these are a great value and good shoes. Worth the money. ... show more

  • Comfortable and Professional: A Great Everyday Shoe
Size: 15 Wide Color: Black
I purchased these polished full-grain leather shoes on March 20, 2017, seeking a professional yet affordable option for everyday wear. They have exceeded my expectations in both style and comfort. The polished leather uppers give the shoes a sleek, professional look, suitable for various settings. This was important to me, as I wanted shoes that looked good but were more practical for daily use compared to my special occasion Allen Edmonds. Comfort is a standout feature, thanks to the padded collars. They add an extra layer of cushioning, making the shoes comfortable for all-day wear. This has been particularly beneficial for long workdays or when I'm on my feet for extended periods. The shoes' flexible construction contributes to their overall comfort, allowing for natural foot movement. Additionally, their acceptance by the American Podiatric Medical Association highlights their quality and effectiveness in promoting good foot health. The durable, siped rubber outsole is another key aspect, offering excellent traction on wet surfaces, which adds to their practicality for everyday use. In summary, these shoes are a perfect blend of professional style, comfort, and practicality, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable everyday shoe. ... show more

  • Great shoes
Size: 9 Color: Black
These shoes are very comfortable and sturdy. I did have to exchange for a half size smaller pair, but when they fit they are great. I wear them every day for work, so I wasn't looking for anything super fancy. They look right and are reliable for daily use. For this price, look no further.

  • Been Wearing These For Years
Size: 10.5 Color: Black
This is still a great shoe for the price. I've worn these for years as they are comfortable, fit well and wear reasonably well.

  • Fourth Time Ordering- Quality Has Declined
Size: 13 Wide Color: Cordovan
I believe I've ordered this shoe four times over the past decade. It's a solid shoe that has had very little changes to quality, except for this time. My previous shoes lasted about 2 to 3 years while wearing them a few times a week. The main point of failure after a couple years would be the sole would crack from bending. I would consider them a success. This last order, my shoe is already losing the trim that lies underneath the laces, mainly right below the knot. I only had worn the shoes a few times with nothing more than walking and driving. This trim, which is wearing away quite rapidly due to the laces rubbing is unsatisfactory, and is a bad sign that the process or the material has changed. Other than that, the shoe has been a pretty good shoe with OK comfort. I would buy again if I learned that they fixed the problem, because it's a great deal if the quality is restored. ... show more
