Much better than expected for the price. Sound and performance boost. 2001 Mitsubishi Spyder GT. I installed it myself. It is a pain to get the old system off, rust and years of "fast and furious" revs. It is a tight fit getting the exhaust back though, being its an inch bigger than stock. I removed the rear cross member to get the exhaust passed through. It is however not correctly shaped so you will have to make adjustments like most here have said. All in all a great buy. need - 4 jack stands or a car lift - pb blaster haven’t seen a detailed review, ordered it in hopes that it bolted right up. FAIR WARNING of trying to get the stock exhaust off first, the two bolts from the cat are the worst possible, soak them in pb blaster for a few days, repeatedly. the rest of them came off with a little pb blaster and tugging. soon as you get it off it’s pretty much cake work, you have to get your car pretty high off the ground because the last piece needs to be rotated since it needs to go over the axle i believe? it is a 3” pipe so the fitment is very tight. as long as you can get your car high enough there shouldn’t be issues, id say a foot 2-3 ft. best to have two people to hold the exhaust while one puts the bolts in. i didn’t need to bend or cut and weld a pipe but know it’s not gonna sit perfectly center, mine is touching the bumper tilted to the right. can’t blame it for the price. the sound on the other hand is better than any of them in my opinion, it’s gave it a lot of tone and can actually hear the car drone, hear all the gears, especially getting it above 4k rpm, pops when it wants too. overall best bang for the buck just be prepared for that old exhaust to not want to come off and needed to get your car high so you can fit all the pipes. ... show more

I approved this product, it fit well with my Eclipse, it sounded amazing, I recommend you take it to the shop, to get some help taking the old exhuast out, most 3G Eclipse I know, it’s pretty rusty down there, but it sounded like a beast when it is, people that I was working with said it sounded like a V8 Mustang. So that’s all the reference I can give you! But since this is a cheap end exhaust, don’t expect it to last you a decade, or maybe it will, idk. ... show more

Even tho my box had holes in it and I was missing two bolts, I'm extremely happy with this product. Install was easy on my 2002 mitsubishi eclipse gt, And might i say the sound is sooo much better.

overall, it’s a good exhaust for its price point, the installation was ok ? there were some holes for the screws that weren’t aligned well but it was able to fit eventually. as for the sound, it has a very nice nice rumble, it’s not that loud and it’s not that quiet. just in the middle, which is what i prefer ... show more

Exhaust sounds really good. I'm running it without the silencer and it's very deep and throaty. This does not sound like a cheap fart can. The alignment was a little weird but what can you expect for $130. Great value for the money

I bought this to fit a dodge stratus 2001 2 door. Its about 6 inches short from the bumper that i expected. Uses the stock mounting bolts for the hangers so dont throw them away. Muffler isnt the greatest and I switched it. Piping was worth it.
