I bought this for a "Drive "made walker, the negative review is only half correct. The tray will not go down or fit properly, if your folding walker in a locked open position. In order to fit this tray on your walker you may need to release both lock latches and adjust both sides when pushing down the tray. Once you have the tray down all the way you do not need the lock latches to lock your walker open. The tray will not let the walker to fold in. This tray is very helpful and your senior family member will love it .

I needed a tray like this while stuck using a walker. The description indicated it would work with the style of walker I use. But, the design is not good! The slots on each side (that fit over the walker's handles) do not fit far enough down onto the walker to be secure. As a result, the tray tilts forward and back with every movement. The hard plastic is slippery, so that makes it very easy for it to tilt. You can't set anything in a cup or bowl that has liquid or it slashes and spills all over the tray and makes a mess! IF they had thought to line the slots with some sort of rubber or gripping material, it *might* have remained level. The tray is hard plastic and smooth, so everything *easily* slides around on it. The "cup holders" are teeny tiny and, for me, totally unusable. Plus, they are placed at the front of the tray and the walker's cross bar I pedestal anything sitting into them ( even if you could find something small enough to fit in them!) I gave it one star because I can use it for non-food items or dry items (like the mail, or something on a paper plate), as long as I use my fingers to sort of hold it steady as I walk. Whoever settled on this design clearly did not actually try to use it in real-life situations.....

We found this to be smooth and sturdy. It does not have a non-slip surface though. The cup holder fits a standard paper or plastic cup. Had to return to size up half an inch on the sides of the walker because of the placement of screws. So take that into consideration.

I’m being generous with a right in-the- middle review. The walker tray is okay- Not awful but certainly not great. It serves its purpose if you’re careful with its use. The tray fits easily over the walker handles with a little gentle pushing. So that’s good. Even though the tray is in place, it slants forward. Maybe it’s designed to not be level. The cup holders are laughable. They are too small and shallow to be of any practical use (except for putting your socks there!). The tray does help transport mugs when you put a finger through the handle while pushing the walker. Don’t buy this tray for the drink holders unless you can find another use of them. Although the tray is helpful. Don’t lean on it or put anything heavy on the edge. It just might overturn. I used it for more than carrying food and drink. Just pile your items on and roll to the trash can or washer. Handy-dandy! It’s lightweight plastic and can be removed so the walker can be folded and stored or moved. I like that the tray can be easily cleaned. The cat gives it a higher rating than mine!

Posting here at the 5-star reviews in reply to many of the negative reviews. Most of the one-star reviews are because the tray does not fit their particular walker--apparently the tray is not actually "universal" but is actually like "one size fits most" clothing. Hoping that they might be helpful, here are the exact dimensions of my tray (N.B. there is no way to know if all the trays are manufactured to the same dimensions): First of all, to fit my walker properly, the pointed side and the cup holes are towards the user as shown in the photo. (If I put it with the cup holes at the top the tray doesn't sit right.) The tray itself is (outside dimensions, all measurements in inches), 20 ¾ wide by 14 ½ vertical on each side (sides measured parallel to the length of the slots), with the depth at the point in the middle being 15 ¾. (Cup holes are 2 ½ in diameter.) Each slot is 1 7/8 wide by 11 ½ long inside measurements. From center to center, top and bottom, the slots are 18 apart (in the photo it looks like the slots are slanted, but they are actually parallel). The slots are 19 7/8 apart measured from outside to outside of each slot and 16 apart measured from near edge of near edge of each slot. I have found it an excellent and helpful tray that allows me to transport food and drink while still getting the stability benefits of using a walker with two hands (as opposed to using one hand for the food and one hand for the walker).

As stated in some reviews, it was a tight fit and initially took me a few minutes to get it on straight, but each time you remove it and reinstall, it gets a little easier. Good quality for the price. I was able to put a pencil/pen cup in one of the cup holders for writing utensils. Worked great and still had the second cup holder for my 16 oz. bottle of soda which fit perfectly.
