Overall the quality is decent but maybe a little disappointing for the price. This might be partially due to the color I chose, which was pink. In person, the pink color just looks slightly strange, almost skin-like, and gives the bag a cheaper appearance. I think your best bet would be to go with the black or the darker brown if available since those colors usually look more premium even if the material is less so. One important thing to know is that the two round gold metal strap attachment points CANNOT be folded down when using the purse as a clutch. They are affixed to the gold frame. This makes it very obvious that this is not the designer brand, and is part of the reason for my rating. Another issue is that, yes, the strap hooks often disconnect somehow from the purse if you aren't very careful and it becomes a little annoying. I wouldn't mind it usually, but again, I wanted to use it as a clutch but the attachment points don't fold down. Sigh. ... show more
