Say what you want about polyester, but this shirt is SO soft and comfortable. Being synthetic, it will also be safer to wear when hiking if I get wet and the temperature drops! There is a hint of stretch, which I feel adds to the comfort. It feels light, but not cheap or flimsy. I got the turquoise model, and the colors are really pretty and rich. Size is very true. I am a small on top (medium bottom) and the fit is excellent. The length is even good and doesn’t bunch up at my hips when buttoned down. I was looking for a trimmer, non bulky fit. If you want a looser fit to wear layers under, or use as a “shacket”, size up one. Note that the care instructions require gentle washing and NO tumble drying. I’m petite, so shirt sleeves are always a bit long on me, so I have to roll the cuff once so as not to cover my hands! So a small but nice detail on this top is that the underside of this shirt’s cuff is the “outside” color so that it doesn’t look rolled up. Just looks more polished (in an instance where I’m not in the woods LOL.) Lastly - another small but nice detail - is that the buttons are easy to do. They are a large enough size and the holes are easy to get through! I have some circulatory problems and have a hard time with buttons when my hands are cold…especially if wearing gloves. Tiny buttons with tight holes are a nightmare for folks like me, or I there’s with neuropathy, arthritis, etc. These are a dream! If anything changes or doesn’t hold up as I wear and wash this shirt more, I will update my review :-) ... show more

Cute, stretchy, pairs well with accessories. Im plus size about 18W and top is smaller so if pants for me are XXL i would get an XL top (i am gauging in scrub sizes). I ended up going with a larger top since i couldnt try it on, i got a XXL top so allow for any room in the bust. Im glad i did - i have larger arms that need stretch and a larger bust. It wasnt too big or too small. The buttons did not pull in the bust area. It looked really cute. I could roll up the sleeves comfortably and still feel comfy. I would buy another color when im ready (5’6, over 200lbs plus size 18pants L to XL shirts) ... show more

I bought this to take with me to travel, and I needed something light yet warm. This has a slight stretch to the fabric and is extremely comfortable to wear. The sleeves are the perfect length to leave down but can be rolled up without becoming bulky. It's not sheer at all, so I didn't need anything underneath. It's great to wear if you want a camisole underneath for added warmth, but even though it's not very thick fabric, it is still warm on its own. This is not flannel material but you can't tell to look at it. So if you are hoping this will keep you warm like flannel would, no. However, I love the material, it is stretchy and comfortable with a female flattering cut, not a boxy one. I even ordered my normal size and it did not gap open between buttons, which was a pleasant and rare surprise as many large busted women can attest to. I like the pattern I got and may buy another after I see how it holds up in the wash. So far, 5 stars! 12/8 update: i downgraded to 4 stars because, while it has held up in the wash I am bother by the inner lining. It is white instead of matching the outside so when you roll up your sleeves or even have the shirt unbuttoned at all, you can see the underlying white. Makes the shirt look cheap, which is annoying. I bought this shirt as a birthday present to me and wore it to my birthday party. I got lots of compliments and I super love it. It is light weight and the material isn't thick so good to wear on warm days and cool days. Arm length is adjustable so you can either have long sleeve or short sleeve. It's very soft comfortable fabric that doesn't shrink after wash, speaking of washing it is easy to wash and dry-no crazy instructions. FYI buyers Plaid does not mean Flannel! Bought 9 different colors 2 large 7 medium. They all fit different! This color fits on the small side, to tight to comfortable button. Where some mediums fit like a large. Love the feel very soft. The fit is very flattering, material is a bit stretchy. I would Not dry this if you like the way it fits, it will Shrink! Fabric does get little fiber balls. But that's what a fabric shaver is for. I will buy more, I do love these shirts. I recommend sizing up one to two sizes for a less fitted look. Use the measurement chart as reference. You can always dry it if you need to shrink it some. ... show more
