Surprisingly Sharp & Stylish: A Crafting Cutting Kit That Delivers Without Breaking the Bank
Color: Green
As someone who’s constantly bouncing between papercrafts, scrapbooking, stenciling, and precision cutting for mixed media projects, I’ve cycled through a few cutting kits—some overpriced, others underwhelming. This cutting kit for crafts, though? A total gem. It’s compact, well thought-out, and honestly stands up to big-name brands without the hefty price tag. Here’s what you get in the kit: • 1 precision hobby knife with a safety cap • 20 #11 blades (yes, twenty—no running out anytime soon) • 1 pink A5 PVC self-healing cutting mat • 1 steel ruler (6-inch/15 cm) Let’s start with the A5 cutting mat—it’s double-sided, self-healing, and comes with both inch and metric markings plus angled guides, which is super helpful for detailed stencil or origami work. Despite being compact, it’s durable and forgiving. I’ve already sliced across it dozens of times, and it still looks clean and smooth. The hobby knife itself is lightweight with a textured, non-slip handle. That makes it easy to control even on intricate cuts, and it actually reduces hand fatigue more than you’d expect from such a small tool. The #11 blades are sharp and reliable—perfect for fine, detailed cuts through cardstock, vinyl, and even thin foam. I haven’t had one snap on me yet, and they swap out quickly when needed. The steel ruler is a nice bonus—solid, straight, and the perfect length for most small to medium projects. Portability is another win. The whole kit fits easily into a small pouch or drawer. Whether you’re a student, hobbyist, or traveling crafter, this kit won’t weigh you down. In short, this kit is a versatile, cost-effective alternative to higher-end brands without sacrificing quality. It’s everything you need to jump straight into crafting, with thoughtful design and durable materials that make it feel more expensive than it is. Whether you’re just getting started or you’re a seasoned maker, this is one cutting kit that punches way above its weight.

It’s a knife
Color: Green
It’s a knife, not a lot to say. Cuts things, has a cover to avoid accidental cuts. Blades aren’t as strong as name brand but you can’t expect them to be for the price difference

Recommended for junk journaling.
Color: Pink
I used the product for junk journaling. There is a big variety of different size stickers that are easy to peel off. I highly recommend it.

A bargain
Color: Pink
I'm very pleased with this purchase. The mat is much better quality than I expected, the blades and handle are durable and sharp. The ruler is okay and has several types of measurements which comes in handy as I bought this to work in 1:12 scale wood miniatures. I would most definitely buy this again.

Love the mat, hate the knife..
Color: Pink
I am pretty bummed about how poor a job the knife does on something as simple as sticker paper. The reviews were great, so I thought I’d give it a shot; I’m a beginner in the crafting field, so I didn’t know what to look for in a crafting knife, but this def ain’t it! The blade that was already attached to the handle when the item arrived has already popped out twice during a simple cut, the knife is not agile at all; does not take turns well which has caused me to run into the edges of my wood pieces, which then flake off (the wood pieces aren’t great quality either - time to reassess my life decisions I think). That always happens as I’m trying to cut around the actual wood piece- hard to explain (yes I have tried both increasing and decreasing my pressure). Although I did say I was a beginner, which is true when it comes to craft tools, it’s actually not true when it comes to tool tools; I know how a precision blade should cut, and this doesn’t cut it! (OMG NO PUN INTENDED… yessss). Luckily this item wasn’t too much $$, and I do use the mat all the time. Mat is great quality, durable, self healing, and easy. The mat is why I gave 3 stars.
