This thing is awesome. I put this together very quickly. The instructions were very simple but effective. It is very lightweight and very easy to put in a small trailer or roof rack of your car. I enjoyed the first ride at the lake. My daughter who is 9 years old was able to handle the bike all over the lake very easily. I was monitoring her with my kayak just in case. Very easy to maneuver. I read a few reviews that were complaining about difficulties while turning. I discovered that the bike doesn't have a timon. Therefore you need to pedal while turning. Like any other boat, it doesn't have a break, so you need to be careful while you are approaching other boats or piers. Very fun ride. The seat is high-quality (Velo brand). Although the shipping time was very long, this water bike was worth the wait. It does steer oddly but gets around just fine and is fun to ride. I had some issues with assembly but Derek, the customer service representative was Awesome! He was easy to reach and responded quickly and resolved all of my issues. I bought both types of water bikes from this company. I bought the one with the pontoons and also with the SUP boards. I personally prefer the look of the SUP boards but almost prefer the pontoons for performance and steering. I don't think you can go wrong with either. The bikes are pretty fast and I can easily go out with someone on a paddle board or kayak and keep up with them rowing at a decent pace. My customer experience has been great via amazon message. I had an issue with one pontoon losing air and they quickly sent me a video on how to adjust the valve within 24 hours. I mistakenly threaded the one crank incorrectly and they sent me a replacement crank no questions asked. The big bonus: You can get replacement parts locally for some items. I dropped a quick release when putting the handle bars on in the lake. I was also able to buy the replacement crank locally to use temporarily while the new item is coming to match. The size is either printed or punched on to the part and it is metric. If it was a core part to the bike that is non-standard you would definitely need help from the manufacturer which I have had a great experience with. Shout out to Derek! I don't know how the bike will be in 5 years but regardless I feel it is worth it for even that period of time. Lastly...easy to disassemble if you want to travel with it. Instuctions to asssemble were nonexistent. Once we finally assembled it, it didn't steer at all. Total waste of $1300. no phone number to call or email to use.

This is a high quality lightweight water bike with great engineering. I received it in 25 days with great packaging and in perfect condition. I live in lake havasu city and this is a great way to cruise around the lake and through the bridgewater channel with ease while getting some excercise at the same time. It assembles and disassembles in minutes which allowed me to take it to the lake in the trunk of my car! This bike scoots along surprisingly fast with easy pedaling. The media could not be loaded. The water bike works very well and is surprisingly fast! The bike is easy to use, and it's a great and safe way to spend a sunny day at the lake! Great product also for rental business, everyone wants to try it even in the Wilderness Lake Inari way up North in Finland!

This bike is great and is a big hit with everyone who comes to visit. I'll update my review later with more details but wanted to share - we found the same steering issue mentioned in other reviews. So we took the fins off the bottom and just have the propeller for steering. It's made a world of difference in the maneuverability of the bike. ... show more
