I gave this necklace to my 3 year old granddaughter in her Easter basket. The necklace stretches and can easily be slipped over the head, but it also has a clasp with ends that easily push together. My granddaughter easily put it on. Pressing the shell is easy to get Ariel to sing a short portion of a song. The shell also lights up as she sings. Even though this necklace is based on the wicked mermaid in stealing Ariel’s voice in the movie, I explained it to my granddaughter as Ariel wanting to share her voice and have her sing along with her. She loved the necklace and played it over and over.

My 5 y/o daughter loves this necklace. LOVES it. She walks around with it on her neck singing "Ahhh ah ahhhhh, ah ahh ah" (imagine Ariel singing here). She is obsessed and has been her favorite toy since purchasing. It is also great with her Ariel dress up clothes (although she's ok using it in plain clothes, too).

My daughter loves this and sings along, she’s been a big fan of Ariel ever since Disneyland California adventure and loves riding the ride. One of her friends had this and she was obsessed, it has a weak clasp made of plastic that allows it to be easily removed. Though this may make it easier to drop it’s much safer in case she gets tangled in something. She uses it often and it has not broken in the past few months
