I bought this dress because we were having a nintendo themed party and I was dressing up as princess peach. Unfortunately I was unable to find a plus sized princess peach costume and decided to use this instead. The part that acts as the sleeves was very scratchy and a bit uncomfortable. The material is pretty thin so it's not going to keep you warm if worn for an outdoor Halloween or costume event. It looks as pictured and I would definitely recommended if you can get past the scratchy sleeves. I personally ended up returning mine because I couldn't get past the scratchy sleeves on a hot summer day. ... show more

It's not unreasonably large -- just a bit too large. However, it is definitely something that we can work with. No way that I would give it fewer stars just because it was a teeny bit larger than expected. Also, by reading the reviews, I had already been given the heads-up that this costume does run a little big. But, I didn't want to risk getting a medium and it maybe being a bit smaller. I can work with too big -- I can't do anything with it if it's too small. We are pleased with the costume. : ) ... show more

The first problem I found off the bat was that the top of the dress was attached to the ruffles.... We had to use a seam ripper to separate it. Then the gold lining was starting to fall off. The small pink straps easily fall off the shoulder because they are sewn as far as possible on the shoulder. It was quite big so we had to basically alter everything on this dress. Lastly, the package says "tiara included," but there was no tiara. I definitely recommend NOT getting this costume. ... show more

The top part is way too big and straps kept falling down. Not fitted , closure is Velcro not a zipper so I think that was the issue in design. Had to wear a shirt under to even wear it. Came super wrinkled and I had no way to get creases out. Very cheap material for price . Paid close to 50.00.

Definitely steam this costume before wearing it. We moved the straps on the top over more onto the shoulders. The surging around the tule in the middle was coming undone. Over all it is a cute simple Aurora costume.
