The extra large fits very nicely. However, if you're a busty girl such as myself, you'll probably want to consider wearing a shirt underneath or a bra that has thin straps and is cut low to accommodate the small top portion of the dress. The vest fits well and is pretty forgiving (my chest size is a 38 GG) so it didn't fit tight at all and would most likely fit someone with a bigger chest too. The dress is nice and silky as well as stretchy around the waist so it can definitely fit someone who is thicker in the middle and in the thighs. The hat definitely needs to be fixed though but I was prepared for that when I read another review. There's a seam inside the hat so you can remove some of the stuffing and sew it back up and no one would ever notice so you can definitely make it fit the way you like without ruining it or spending hours trying to put it back together again. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend

I read some reviews and saw a mixture of true to size and fits small. I ordered my normal size L since I’m a size 12. The dress fit very nicely but the vest was way too tight. I won’t return since I don’t want a too large dress. I think if you have a wider back or midsection you should definitely size up. The hat is so weirdly stuffed but I’ll try to fix that.

The costume is very cute and I got a lot of compliments. I agree with other reviews that state you may have to remove some stuffing to get the hat to stay on, which is exactly what I did. I bought a size down because of shipping times and expected it to fit a little snugly, which it did, so I'd say the sizing is right on, especially for the blue vest. The skirt is very pretty and shiny.

My entire family dressed as Mario characters so this costume was great for that. The hat does takes some working with to make it stay on. I’m 5’4 and 130 lbs and I got the medium because the reviews say it tends to run small. I found this true to size so my costume was a little big which was disappointing. Overall I would recommend, especially if you need a toad costume quickly and can’t make your own!

I ordered a size up. But the hat and vest felt too small. The hat was too wobbly and kept coming off. The vest was extremely tight. But other than that, i was okay with it.

This costume runs small. I'm normally a size 6 but had to get the medium which is marked 8-10. The length is not too short and the vest fits when you first put it on but eventually throughout the night it will ride up. Maybe because it was a little snug. The hat is small and hardly fits on your head. I didn't really end up wearing it because it didn't fit like the picture looks. It was an okay costume and looked better when the group was together (Mario and Luigi) but I wouldn't wear it alone.

Outfit is very cute and fit as expected. The mushroom cap has a little too much stuffing in it. I had to flatten it out a bit because it didn't stay on all that well but overall I was happy with it and got compliments on the outfit.
